    OK, well...

I never really paid much attention to competitive battling in the first place. Heck, I really didn't see what was so great at it. But seeing how it's becoming more and more popular (plus, I'm starting to hate using ubers in my team >.>), I've decided to give it a shot, to see how good bad I am at making a UU team XD

So my main team is as follows:

[PokeCommunity.com] New to the Concept (RMT; UU)

    Nidoqueen@Lum Berry
    Poison Point
    Bold
    252 HP / 200 Def. / 12 Sp. Def. / 44 Speed
    ~Toxic Spikes
    ~Taunt
    ~Earth Power
    ~Ice Beam

So I choose to start off with a Supportive Lead. Of course Nidoqueen can be a real tank, but sometimes you need a supporter. With Toxic Spikes to Poison or Badly Poison any Pokemon that comes out next, and Taunt and the Lum Berry to help keep it awake, and the two offensive moves to deal plenty of damage to those weak against the types, Nidoqueen is sure to come in handy.

[PokeCommunity.com] New to the Concept (RMT; UU)

    Umbreon@Leftovers
    Synchronize
    Sassy
    252 HP / 200 Sp. Def. / 56 Def.
    ~Curse
    ~Payback
    ~Baton Pass
    ~Wish

Umbreon's something on the line of one of my favorites (though it doesn't top some of the other Eeveelutions), but... Curse is to raise its stats, but at the same time Baton Pass those stats to another Pokemon that can handle the power and not have a problem with the major speed reduction. Wish is for healing Umbreon in case it gets low on HP, or if you choose to Baton Pass Wish's effects to the next Pokemon. As for Payback, well, seeing how it does more damage if the opponent attacks first, then it would come in handy.

[PokeCommunity.com] New to the Concept (RMT; UU)

    Bastiodon@Leftovers
    Sturdy
    Relaxed
    252 HP / 228 Def. / 28 Sp. Def.
    ~Taunt
    ~Metal Burst
    ~Stealth Rock
    ~Earthquake

Simply put, Bastiodon seems to have some of the best defense, despite its double weaknesses to Fighting and Ground. If I Baton Pass Umbreon, Bastiodon will already have the attack and defense needed, and since it never has been really fast, it wouldn't matter if its Speed was low or not. And after all, what else is Metal Burst for? Stealth Rock for those annoying fliers that might come into battle, and Earthquake pretty much because it's powerful (especially with a Curse boost from Glaceon).

[PokeCommunity.com] New to the Concept (RMT; UU)

    Azumarill@Leftovers
    Huge Power
    Adamant
    252 HP / 212 Atk. / 44 Speed
    ~Substitute
    ~Focus Punch
    ~Waterfall
    ~Aqua Jet

Great for using against Pokemon that don't do much to Water types. Substitute helps Azumarill ready its Focus Punch without worrying about taking damage. Waterfall is for those weak against Water moves or don't have any sort of resistance/weakness to Water, and Aqua Jet... This is a special case. If the opponent happens to be something Bastiodon (or Umbreon, for that matter) is weak against, then Azumarill would come in handy. Especially if it gets the effects from Baton Pass, it would most likely be able to take down the opponent (no doubt) with Aqua Jet, seeing how it always hits first.

[PokeCommunity.com] New to the Concept (RMT; UU)

    Altaria@Leftovers
    Natural Cure
    Calm
    252 HP / 200 Def. / 56 Sp. Def.
    ~Roost
    ~Sing
    ~Dragon Pulse
    ~Flamethrower

Sing is pretty helpful since (if and when it hits) it puts the opponent to sleep, allowing Altaria to heal itself with Roost. Dragon Pulse and Flamethrower are there because they're somewhat powerful, and of course, have great accuracy plus great side effects/bonus effects.

[PokeCommunity.com] New to the Concept (RMT; UU)

    Shaymin@Leftovers
    Natural Cure
    Bold
    252 HP / 252 Def. / 6 Speed
    ~Seed Flare
    ~Rest
    ~Aromatherapy
    ~HP Rock

I don't think I can really say anything here, except that I don't mind using non-uber legendaries on my team, which is what Shaymin pretty much is.

    ---

So there you have it. Comments and constructive criticism appreciated. Flaming and mean remarks not allowed. Like I said, this is my first time ever trying my luck at seeing if I can make any progress in competitive battling.

I'm willing to make changes to my team, so...

I really don't like the idea of a Curse-passer on this team, especially since Azumarill would really need Aqua Jet to be able to strike first when it really needs to with Curse passed to it. I suggest using Aqua Jet over Waterfall or Toxic, preferably Toxic since Nidoqueen has Toxic Spikes anyway, and Aqua Jet is very important for Azumarill, in my opinion, for finishing off pokemon without having to take a hit because you're slower.

Anyway, about Glaceon. I love Glaceon, but unfortunately, it's really not a good pokemon for Curse-passing, and isn't very good for the role because Ice is a bad type defensively. I highly suggest Umbreon over Glaceon; it has higher Special Defense and HP, thus making it a much better user of Curse. Here's the set I've used before, and it's quite effective:

    Umbreon @ Leftovers
    EVs: 252 HP, 200 SpD, 56 Def
Nature: Sassy (+SpD, -Spd) or Careful (+SpD, -SpA)

    -Curse
    -Payback
    -Wish
    -Baton Pass

If you want more attacking power for Umbreon, switch the SpD EVs with Attack, and then put 56 into SpD instead. Or, you can switch the EVs around more, but always keep 252 HP, no Speed, and invest more SpD than Def. I prefer Sassy over Careful, since it will give Umbreon a higher chance of going last, which increases the power of Payback, and if you're Baton Passing Wish, it's best to go last (in my opinion) since Umbreon will be hit before switching out, and not the recipient of Wish. This functions much better than Glaceon, in my opinion, since Umbreon has a Physical attack to take advantage of Curse, the move also takes advantage of going last, better typing, and Umbreon also has higher HP and SpD, which is good for a Curse-user so they can take hits from the Special side, too.

I hope this helps. I see a few other problems with the team, but I'll leave that to the more experienced raters to help you out with. I hope this helps. :)

HP Fire is useless on Shaymin. Registeel laughs t it and Steelix is hit by Seed Flare for more damage. Earth Power is a good idea to hit Fire-types, while Hidden Power Ice or Air Slash hits Grass-types, and the former hits Flying-types as well.

I don't like the idea of glaceon curse-passing. IMO umbreon is the superior choice, plus your wasting the evs that you've invested in glaceons speed by cursing so it's not as effective as it could be.
If you still plan on curse-passing then give azumarill aqua jet otherwise he's not going to be an effective sweeper.
I'd also recommend giving shaymin air slash or something so you can hit fighting types effectively, otherwise team members such as glaceon and bastiodon could be the victims of the hitmon family.
Other than that I can't see any other obvious flaws. Keep on trying!

    Hmm... Thanks, to everyone.

I don't mind Umbreon, actually (to tell the truth, I like all the Eeveelutions except Jolteon XD), so I think that would work. And I suppose Aqua Jet would work over Toxic (you were right; Nidoqueen does have Toxic Spikes; I was thinking of giving her Stealth Rock instead, but I knew Bastiodon had it so I tried to avoid that, I guess I ended up making a different mistake).

And as for Shaymin... I was kinda thinking HP Rock only because it would catch Fire, Flying, Ice, AND Bug types by surprise, but... And now that I think about it, HP Fire is only good against its own type, Ice, and Bug. Two of those are good against Shaymin, but...

Anyways, thanks for all the criticism! I'll update the team now.
