New to the game need help.

Hi,

I'm looking to start playing PTCG but first i'll need a deck. I am looking fora 60 card deck from the x and y edition(if that makes sense.) I don't know what to look for in a deck or what to buy so any advice will be greatly appreciated. Also a cost for the amount of a good starting deck would be appreciated.

Really all I did when I got back into the TCG recently was buy a couple pre-built decks that sounded good to me or had types I liked, and then bought a few boosters and singles along the way to tweak and customize the pre-builts, then eventually once I had more cards I dismantled them entirely and built my own decks from scratch.

From there I've just been building new decks as I go, coming up with new ideas and concepts.
