    So I've played a lot of rom hacks and finally after playing pokemon glazed I was inspired to want to make my own hack! Only one problem though, I don't have any knowledge about rom hacking. like literally 0%. I am a fast learner and I could easily think of a creative storyline though. But my biggest problem is that I won't have the time needed for something like this since I go back to college is 3 weeks. So my question is, should I bother trying to make my own hack or is there anyway I can just help someone make a hack's storyline/easter eggs since that is all that I am really wanting to do?

    How would I go about with doing that though? like my problem is that I have a lot of ideas and such but I fear that I wouldn't have the time or know-how to make the game, like I would enjoy making the hack but I just don't think I can so i'm willing to help instead so I can at least get my ideas into a game.

    Well, people look for helpers and teammates in the Team Room, so you could start there if you want to help, but...

    ...As far as people needing ideas for hacks go, it'd generally be better if you made one yourself, especially since you DO seem like you want one of your own. Honestly, I think it'd be in your best interest to learn, because all things considered, Pokemon hacking is pretty simple. Way easier that making your own engine or even using most of the game makers out there. Just head over to the Tools and Tutorials section and give it a look over. I'd be less than surprised if you found that it was well within your ability.

    I gave a look to the scripting guide and I was able to follow it when I was playing close attention, I think if I had people who have done this sort of thing before helping me then I could get started, and with the way I am with this sort of thing once I get started I can make a lot of progress, but first I have to gain a good understanding of the basics
