I came up with a new Nuzlocke challenge called Spiritlocke, which is a combination of my favorite Pokemon,Spiritomb, and the Nuzlocke challenge. Here are the basic rules originated from Nuzlocke.
1. If your Pokemon faints, you must release it!
2. Nickname your Pokemon for closer bonds!
3. (optional) You DO NOT have to choose the first Pokemon in the area.
Now, here are the additional MANDATORY Spiritlocke rules!!
1. You must ALWAYS keep your starter Pokemon in the front of the Party! (you can always switch it out in battle though)
2. If your starter Pokemon faints, it is GAME OVER!!!
3. When you heal at the Pokemon center, put the other Pokemon in your PC and heal only your starter.
4. IF you get another Gift, or Starter Pokemon, DO NOT treat it like your first starter.
5. You cannot trade, use friend safaris, or anything involving the "outside world", except for Wi-Fi battles.
6. If you play Wi-Fi battles, your Pokemon won't die!
Optional HARD Mode rules:
1. You can only keep six pokemon, which stay in your Party.
2. Once your pokemon dies, you cannot catch any Pokemon of the same Species. (If your Bunnelby dies, you can't catch another Bunnelby)
3. You can't catch legendarys.
4. Pokemon Amie can only be used with your Starter Pokemon for Max Affection, but ALL Pokemon can use Pokemon Training.
Purpose of the Spiritlocke rules: A closer bond with your Starter Pokemon, making the others not as important.
Now I want to hear YOUR opinions. What should change, and what is good about it, and is it even good at all?
