5th Gen New Typing Combos for Gen 5

Well we got Victini which is Psychic/Fire so you got your Fire/Psychic pokemon :)
 
Eh, that's a legendary. I want something you can easily get. D:

Maybe a pure Flying would be nice, I want that eagle/hawk Pokemon to be pure Flying.

And your point is? O_o Since when has 4x weakness stopped a Pokemon from being good? May I point you in the direction of Garchomp, Gliscor, Salamence, Scizor, Swampert, Weavile...?

A Grass/Steel or Steel/Grass type would have two weaknesses (Fire, Fighting), four neutralities (Bug, Flying, Ground, Ice), ten resistances (Dark, Dragon, Electric, Grass, Ghost, Normal, Psychic, Rock, Steel, Water) and one immunity (Poison). That's better than what most Grass types can claim, and certainly better than a lot of Steel types (esp. Rock/Steel), not to mention an actual resistance to Electric/Water is not something most Steel types can boast about. It can even resist its own types, and gets not one but two stab moves against Rock types, plus one stab move against Ice and Water types. Sure, it probably wouldn't be able to fight against most Fire or Fighting types (especially not Blaziken/Infernape) but it would still be a very kickass combo.
 
love to see a fire/normal, water/fire

maybe some triple typing like fire/water/grass or dragon/psychic/ghost
 
fighting and flying, beast. Since we got a flying/electric type for the first time since zapdos, Im hoping to see a ice/flying, and another fire/flying. Now ice/dragon, well my thought on that one is that it might be the 3rd legendary (suspicious o.o)

Grass/dragon for the win big time
We need a buffer water/dragon pokemon. Kingdra was okay but I felt that it would be better
Bug/dragon would be so cool to see
 
-Electric/Dark! I hope that zebra evolves into one.
-A better Grass/Dark and Water/Dark-type! Neither Nuzleaf/Shiftry, Crawdaunt, Carvanha/Sharpedo nor Cacturne look "evil" enough.
-Grass/Dragon! Fire-type attacks would just inflict neutral damage upon it.
-Rock/Ghost with Levitate! It'd be cool to see an ectoplasmic rock float in the air and it gets immunite to the all-mighty EQ.
 
Dragon without the ice weakness would just pwn everything, theres a reason Gyarados is water/flying and not water/dragon.

Yeah it would :D!
It would be able to take care of some of Ice's weaknesses such as Rock, and Steel while Ice can take care of Fighting weakness to Flying ;)
 
...that would be amazing. Maybe that might be that masked new Pokemon - even if it isn't, I think that's pretty possible this generation.
 
I'll tell you what we need. We need a Grass/Fire, it could be like a burning tree, or something cool like that.

It would need Flash Fire to make it decent though.

We need a Fire/Steel. One that is just a normal Pokemon. We also need more Fire/Rock Pokemon.

Oh, we also need some Steel/Grass and Steel/Dark. :D

Why would it need Flash fire to be decent? It's type combo is already pretty awesome as it is :D
 
A Grass/Fire Tiki would be a pretty neat pokemon to have. Its much better in concept than Pyroak made by Smogon. A fire Lizard in wooden battle armor isn't nearly as logical as a ceremonial Tiki pokemon on fire.
 
Fire/grass might be the typing for the red broccoli monkey (or is it orange? cant remember)

I want to see grass/dragon, hopefully the new starter will be that.
