New way to battle for Pokefans

We all have boxes full of pokemon, right, at least a few, spanning all the categories of pokemon from Normal to Fairy.
Then why not let some of those groggy still pokemon have a go at fighting as well?

So there are eighteen types of pokemon, using https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Type as reference you assign each type a number, One = Normal, ... , 18 = Fairy

Then roll the odds 6 times for your team, using this handy little tool, https://numbergenerator.org/randomnumberbetween1and18

First 6 numbers you share to a buddy you will be fighting online through email or instant message or text, and the friend also sends over his numbers. >>Be Honest<<, why lie about a few numbers?

Then you go off into the boxes of pokemon sitting, just waiting for you to pick them and get a pokemon of each type randomly selected by the generator.

They can be pokemon who you have toiled over and trained.

They could be level ones with just breeding moves and almost perfect IVs that you felt attached to and didn't release or wonder trade

They can only share the type drawn in the randomizer.

Scenario: you draw a 4, which through bulbapedia means water, but you could get any pokemon that is half water, but it must have the type listed. No picking a pokemon just cause it can use a water move. That way you can maximize the types you want to use. with it still being random.

You may add items onto the pokemon, teach them new moves and boost their EVs, but not after drawing the numbers, when the numbers are drawn you take pokemon that fit and give it your best shot in either: single, double, triple, or rotation battles.

My suggestion is one battle per a set of numbers, because that gives more chances to more pokemon to be used.
And maybe try using all pokemon that you have not trained, or all lvl ones sometimes to see how they fare when they are pumped to lvl 50 and put against each other? Magikarp splash war! :D

Hope you have fun with this and try it out. Maybe even post interesting combinations that you randomly gathered together and was surprised how well they did in different battles.
