this site is full of people who like to talk about pokémon, so you're in good company. if you just want to chit-chat, the game sections or Pokémon General can be great. you can just jump into any thread you see that seems interesting to you (preferably after reading the first post in it) and start chatting, it's pretty lax as long as you follow the rules.
a pack collection, is that the trading card game? we have a section for that too, so i hope you can find like-minded friends there as well. good luck!
