Newbie!!! Please help!!!

    I'm very new to this community site and a very big Pokemon fan. I enjoy playing GBA Pokemon games including hacks, I downloaded the visual boy emulator so I can play on my laptop, but due to Nintendo taking all its games off of coolrom because of copyright issues, I am stumped on where to find the roms anywhere else, please help me find a way to continue playing these Pokemon games or hack roms!!!!

    Not even places I can buy the hacks, it's more interesting playing the games people create that are not game console. But I don't mind playing the originals as well
     
    In most cases, ROM hacks are free as far as I know. If you're buying them from anyone other then the creator, chances are you're being scammed.

    ROM hacks can be played by patching the original game's .gba file with an .ips file that is offered for download in reputable places, such as PC.

    And, last I checked, there was a strict rule prohibiting the publishing of links to ROM sharing websites anywhere on this one.
