[Error] Newbie Requesting Help

Hello there,

I am new to working with Essentials and I've done my best to search online for help but I keep going in circles so I ended up joining here ^_^
My question is, When I'm trying to add a new pokemon take for example "Litleo" I found a generation six folder which has the sprites, icons and what
have you. Well the battle works, his pokedex info comes up. But when I open the party window a grey dancing question mark is in it's place where his icon
should be. So I'm confused on where I went wrong, I placed all correct images in said folders where the others were. But sadly it's still not working.
Is this a PBS issue? <--- Still learning about PBS and what not, If so can someone help me step by step on how to go about this, I have a learning curve already
with dyslexia, so believe me I am trying my best. Thank you all!~

Welcome to the Essentials club! As long as you have Litleo in the pokemon.txt PBS File, its data will be in the game. What version of Essentials are you using? There was a pretty major change between how the images work between V18 and V19, which could be causing your issue. In V18 and earlier, Pokemon images are labeled by their Nat Dex number. In V19 they are labeled by their name in all caps. Make sure your images for Litleo are in the same format as all the others. Assuming you're using V19, if you go to the Pokemon folder within the Graphics folder, you'll find all of the places where you will need Litleo sprites. Sprites for Gen 6-8 aren't included as part of the Essentials download, so you'll need to add them yourself.
