4th Gen News: New Pokemon Starters Names revealed

    First off is the pretty much confirmed stuff is that we have three new Pokémon names from some official merchandise being released in Japan later this year. These names are Naetoru, Hikozaru & Bocchama. Now these names are speculated to be for the starters with Naetoru meaning Sprout Beetle and Hikozaru meaning Fire Child Ape.     However, in a Japanese Blog, a person claimed to get an Exclusive Tour of Nintendo HQ and saw the three starting Pokémon. He states that the starters follow the previous type triangle and claims that the Fire Type had the name Hikozaru. He described the Grass Starter as having a body similar to Chikorita and a face like Trapinch. The Fire Type he also confirmed to be a Fire Ape similar to how the name obtained on official merchandise states. Finally he states that the water type seems to be similar to a Penguin in appearance.

    However since this information has come from a Blog, chances are it's fake...but if not and if the writer is sincere, this could be the first information we have for the starters. Chances are we will not know for sure until next week at the earliest, maybe mid-September. Remember, the above information is NOT 100% confirmed so take it with a grain of salt.     Well, to be they could still remain as the official site revealed, meaning Fighting - Dark - Psychic. A Fire Ape could be just too easy a Fighting type. As for the other I guess time will show... I just hope the person that states the apperiences of the new Pokemon lies as they really aren't something I would choose if there were more options.
     
    Sorry, but that stuff is old. There are shadows going around of the starters that are possibly fake, but know one knows yet. Here they are...

    I think they are Fighting-Physic-Dark

    Here is a pic that someone made a Fire-Grass-Water triangle that is 100% fake. Why, because the person that made it even admited it.

    The anticipation is crazy, so I guess it's only natural that people take things in their own hands and create illusional Pokémon. I have no problem with that. What I don't like is when they try to pass it off as the real thing. Why can't they just post their ideas as Fan Art, anyway?
     
    ...This makes me wonder: We've had dual-type starters before, so what if they're Fire/Fighting, Grass/Dark, & Water/Psychic? All three of those have been done before, and one was a starter's evolution, so...

    Wow, these last three fakes even had SPP confused for a few. I don't get why people make the fakes, it's kind of annoying.
     
    People making fake starters just builds up the hype. I've no prob with it. What annoys me are the people that go "OMG!!one11!one T3h n3w starters are F/G/W, i TOLD j00!1!1" and then other people overreact to it....
     
    Yeah. I would say that's more annoying too. Im going to have a hard time believing the real new starters when they come out. XD
     
    Clix, I don't know if pokecommunity is down or not, but still you double posted. Im not trying to be a mini-mod or anything, but i'm just telling you so you know. :)

    Anyways, those last three drawings were very realistic in the Pokémon style. Shame though…I would've picked the kangaroo. Ooh, I can't wait for August's Coro Coro to come out.

    Coro Coro will be out on the 11th this month, but since we all know that Joe gets stuff early, we should have info on the 8th. We'll see if those Pokemon are real or not and the fate of the names. Those are real, but are they for the starters? If they are, then those pictures of the recent starters are fake.

    very good point, but have you considered that the makers would mix defenses between the pokemon? rather it be that way, they could have it Fire/Psychic, Grass/Dark, Water/Fighting, or even perhaps another evenly distrubted variation..? that would be so wicked

    i know the starters xD 1st of all its water, fire, and grass... but the fire final form is a fire/dragon! woot! haha

    u also seem to like scyther well heres something new. scyther has an dark form :P u can either go sizors or his other form... starts with a 'z' but i 4got >_<

    And a dark form is not confirmed, as far as I know. o_O;

    Dude that's funny, altough a dark syther evo would be kind of cool.
