Newsletter for the art gallery

o_o I asked forest grovyle but I was thinking a little bit with the new tags that we have, I could do a newsletter with the laitest that has been going on in the art gallery and actualy have a kind of head up for people who are just joining to know the most popular at the moment and some new information and plans from different artists.

I usta do a newsletter for Rockford about pokemon and I was doing drawings weekly for it =/ guess in a way you could say I miss my career days lol.
Would everyone be okay if it's started and posted in the anoucement area? Or should it stay in the art gallery?

If you were going to post it, I'd do it in the gallery, since that's where your target audience lies. ^^;;
It simply wouldn't be read very much and become forgotten in Announcements... ^^;;

=D thanks, Gallery it is ^^ That sounded better to me too but I'm in other sites that has newsletters be in the main site area, and that happeneds to be are anoucements. So I became confused @_@ Thank you so much for your input.

And to Stider, I was thinking of making it for the basics of each month, when a art contest is over the first place and so forth would be placed on the front of it, while that may seem to be to much depends on when november is over with =D however as for the other things that would be in will Range from How to draw t00ts for oekaki Styles and creatures . Most likly a special spot for the most drawn pokemon of the month, least, and the largest image posted, and smallest image in the art gallery.

The most sprite output by one person, most interesting comic to the group of that month. Hotest topics and ect. Will also be placed in the news letter, the best Photograph and things like that will be in it as well ^^.

There will also be oekaki Archives. Which is mainly like Deviantarts Monthly Deviant. The one who has shown alot of tallents and the most possible will be posted as a honor in that person =D, and to the new users there will be coloring pages that they can color localy or upload to Smeargles Canvas for indetailed oekaki works :nods:
It will also have a posted area for artists to get tips on style and it will have places and guides for you to get =D Former oekakis and new ones alike will be placed and sites with gallerys you can join will be posted at the end of every newsletter along with the peoples E-mails and gallery for more popularity to their site and or insperation from other art anthusiests ^^.

All in all it will be a huge area showing the best and most helpful things to bring even more excitment to the end of every month.

Athough I wouldint mind getting more ideas o.o.

So art news from not only this site but others as well? (Deviant art I mean)

I like the idea of putting the contest winners up, but that would be on '________ month results'

BUT I do like the idea of a newsletter for the art gallery, I don't know, it will keep members updated on not only forum art activities but outside art activities as well, like contests on Live Journal or other sites.

I like it, but Forest Grovyle is the one to ask on the issue...all you really need it her go ahead ^_-
