This challenge can be done in all games.
Basically you go through the game without evolving your pokemon.
Rules:
1. You may not catch pokemon that are already fully evolved (ie: you cannot catch wild Floatzel, but you can catch Buizel)
2. You may not evolve your pokemon any further than when you catch them. (ie: you can catch starly but may not evolve it into staravia, if you caught starly but want staravia you may catch one in the wild and swap it out.
3. You may catch pokemon that do not evolve (ie, carnivine, spiritomb)
4. You may not use legendaries, but you may catch them if you wish
5. I consider Rotom a legendary, but since he is so weak as a legendary you may catch him. However you may not change his form with the secret key event
6. If you are playing GSC you CAN catch sudowoodo, but in HGSS you may not, becuase he was given the baby form, Bonsly. This is only an example, there are other pokes that follow this rule.
7. You may recieve trades, as long as they comply with the rules.
8. Update often.
9. If you wish, you can make it a solo NFE run, that is up to you.
10. Have fun!

Also in a while I will post an action replay code that will give you 6 everstones, so that you don't have to keep pressing the B button every time a pokemon tries to evolve.
