Nice to meet you all. Rekindling my love for Pokémon!

Hello all, and nice to meet you.

I'm not by any means a new player / fan of Pokémon, in fact, even this account is from 2018 lol. I started playing when I was younger and my first game was Pokémon Leaf Green on the GBA. Since then I have been a major fan of the games (never really cared for the anime). I do own a 3DS, but I've only gotten as far as ORAS (I have OR), so I haven't really played recent gens (I think the latest game I played was Black and White 2).

I've recently decided to "rekindle" my love for Pokémon (it has never faded, but I've grown more distant). I love nuzlocking because it adds a layer of challenge to the games, but I have no clue how to battle competitively.

Welcome to the community! B2W2 were amazing games. I do recommend playing Sword and Shield at some point if you can, they really are great games. I personally feel like Pokemon is one of those things that you can never fully drop it. We have an entire section dedicated to making games a bit more challenging as well as many hacks that up the difficulty, check out the Challenges section. I hope you enjoy your stay!
