when we were talking about the legendary ban that was something entirely different

for 3 or 4 days no legendaries could be traded (only offered) on GTS, causing a huge backup on GTS

Umm... lets see. It's hard to remember what good trades I've gotten since I've gotten so many bad ones.

One time I was trying to evolve my Porygon 2 using GTS, but before I could do a trade someone picked up my regular Porygon 2 and gave me a legit shiny one. I was really happy with that so I cloned him and traded the clone for another shiny (can't remember what though).

I also got a legit WISHMKR Jirachi for a level 100 Blissey.

I put a Lv. 1 Porygon in the GTS asking for Dragonair... and Dragonair was Lv.100!

Also someone had offered Infernape for a Starly.

My top 3 Nicest things on the GTS for me ^^

#1: One time I put up a lvl 100 Pikachu I got from some guy on Serebii.net..I asked for a Sandslash lvl 100. My trade was answerd. I expected a Sandslash with a bad nature and cr*ppy moves. NO..I got a Shiny lvl 100 Sandslash with cool moves! Expect Gyro ball..that was kinda dumb xD

#2: I got a Gabite with PokeRus & Draco Meter of the GTS for a regular ol' Gible O.O Talk about jackpot! =D

#3: I had put up a Burmy up on the GTS..only lvl 16..However it was Female..I asked for a Mew to see if anyone was even dumb enough to answer my offer. 'Bout 1 min later..Its answered. I laughed hystericly untill I checked out the Mew..It was lvl 46. I laughed even harder. xD

I barely do any trades over the GTS and when I do, nothing really spectacular happens. My best was probably getting a lvl 70 Empoleon for a lvl 5 chimchar.

I still remember my Palkia for a Gible trade. That's probably my best deal of all.

Some girl was looking for an Arcanine for her Pachirisu.
And since I love Japanese named Pokemon, I gave her my lvl 60 Arcanine with a good movesets. ^^; I had no use for it.


But what someone did for me was...
Trading my Palka for a shiney lvl 100 Moltic. 8D
I was like... wow!

Once, like when I have 7 badges, I put up a level 2 Bidoof on offer for a Noctowl. I love Noctowls! ^^ Anyway, it was level 100. I suppose it was hacked. Then, much, much later I noticed it said "Met @ Route 225 @ LV.95." That cut it. It was hacked. And in a master ball. So, I offered that on GTS, and got a Japanese Level 57 Dialga! Woohoo!

yea, basically the same situation, except it was a Lv 63 Palkia, and i put it in there asking for a Level 100 Palkia, it was cool

Back a long time ago before the english version of D/P I had Diamond and was looking for Misdreavus in GTS and found one tht was level 1 for a level 40+ Dialga, so i traded my Dialga because itwas a good trade for me(i love Mismagius and i dont care to much about ledgendaires)

i once found a lv 100 salamance on the gts,so im thinking,i need that ony my team!and i traded my extra F unown,and he was still there!furthering my love of him,he had three moves,dragon claw(was gonna teach),earthquake,(funny realy,it doesent affect him but he can use it),Flamthrower(Gotta love the orgianals!)so i taught him fly,now im gonna take him to the person and teack him draco meteor.

to answer your question, you put a pokemon that evolves through trading in the box (with the evolution item if it needs it), and then you perform a trade through gts. then after you have done a trade, you take the pokemon out and it evolves
