What's a good nickname for charizard and blastoise? Right now, all I can think of is TORU for Blastoise. (It means "the sea")

Just be creative. Name your Blastoise, Sam, and your Charizard, Bob. Your nicknames need to be your choice, but look on a Latin website. Some of the best names are Latin words.

I know. I usually use japanese names for all my pokes. For starters, I always recycle HIRO for fire, TORU for water, and RINJI for grass. I just wanted to see what others would name theirs so I would have some more ideas for my own.

I don't think it's a good idea naming your pokémon with japanese or any foreign words, it looks like as sterile as if you name them for example grass, fire, water etc.

No, they're actual baby names I looked up. Liek rinji means forest and hiro is like prosperous child or something. ANyway, I decided on GOLIATH for charizard and ROLAND for Blastoise.

My Charizard in Red is called Flare. In Blue I haven't evolved my Squirtle so I wouldn't know a name for a Blastoise :P
