So ive been working on a novel anout nihilism, and YES i am nihilist

    Nihilism:

This piece of work was based on a conversation that I and my good friend known as Daemon talked about

People… Society, and Humanity may sometimes stop to wonder what's out there… but they never think far enough. Now, most people know what Nihilism is, but if you don't then you will want to find out what it means right? Good. A nihilist is someone who believes that life, existence or anything else has no purpose. OK! Now that that's done lets start the story and end up living with Nihilism.

    Chapter 1: Argument

On msn, I was not feeling myself, so I tried to trick my good friend known as Daemon (Daemon is his online alias) into telling me where him and his friends were meeting up… after awhile he asked me out, and I said really but he said that he knew all along. I told him that I was feeling kind of depressed. As a friend he told me that I was not depressed, but just sad, I asked him if he even knows what it feels like… now here's an extract from our conversation

    Daemon says:
Yes I do, and that is what made me a nihilist…

    Yakamaru says:
    Join the club.

    Daemon says:
You have no idea what it's like…

    Yakamaru says:
Don't I? It feels as you have something missing, no purpose, and no sympathy, we all live and we all die… like theres no point in life

And, well with that said, I felt good that I found a fellow nihilist. Finally someone that is either equal or greater than me… anyways back to the story:

    Daemon says:
    What happened?

    Yakamaru says:
I got hit, punched and almost killed; I realized that there is no point and started feeling strange like mewtwo from pokemon! Lol

    Daemon says:
    Lol ;)

So, we were good friends… and it was really fun making fun of the "others" who saw us as alien, I found an equal… so now, let me show you the rest of our conversation:

    Yakamaru... says:
Close your eyes and think of a future... I wonder what you see... this will determine if you are really nihilist...
    ~Daemon~ says:
    heh
    Yakamaru... says:
    I see nothing
    ~Daemon~ says:
I see what I want to see
    Yakamaru... says:
    Try it
    ~Daemon~ says:
I can see all sorts of things
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Eventually nothingness of course
    ~Daemon~ says:
With a blur in the middle
    Yakamaru... says:
    Umm... you're thinking
    Yakamaru... says:
    About the present
    Yakamaru... says:
    Slowly moving to the future
    Yakamaru... says:
    Right?
    ~Daemon~ says:
My future will come as it comes, and I will deal with at when I reach it
    ~Daemon~ says:
I have no interest in the future as all it will bring is death and destruction and hate
    Yakamaru... says:
    That's why I saw nothing...
    Yakamaru... says:
    The future is nothing
    Yakamaru... says:
    Nothing of importance
    Yakamaru... says:
    A single timeline...
    Yakamaru... says:
Do you believe about parallel timelines or dimensions?
    ~Daemon~ says:
I have no real interest in them, and have more important things to think about really
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Do you?
    Yakamaru... says:
Slightly... only to fill out the blank of what exists and what is real importance
    ~Daemon~ says:
    In English?
    Yakamaru... says:
    Why do you like science?
    ~Daemon~ says:
I know it's all philosophical and whatnot, but I'm past that
    ~Daemon~ says:
And I like science because it's something to believe in with set rules that work
    Yakamaru... says:
    Good... now imagine a rulebook...
    ~Daemon~ says:
I'm not all for this imagination stuff
    Yakamaru... says:
You must feel that there are some different things out there
    Yakamaru... says:
There must be a blank in you knowledge of science
    Yakamaru... says:
    A if...
    Yakamaru... says:
    Is our universe important?
    ~Daemon~ says:
IS there more than one universe, I don't know
    ~Daemon~ says:
    I don't care, really
    Yakamaru... says:
    But is our universe important?
    ~Daemon~ says:
I've given up thinking about these things, because they just depress me and get me tired
    Yakamaru... says:
    But is it?
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Depends what you mean important
    Yakamaru... says:
Important... as in.... will it make a difference if our universe never existed
    ~Daemon~ says:
Can you be a religious nihilist?
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Oh, no
    Yakamaru... says:
    Answer is no right?
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Think about it
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Think about catholic stuff
    Yakamaru... says:
    Yes...
    ~Daemon~ says:
OK, can nihilism work with religion?
    Yakamaru... says:
    No that I know of
    ~Daemon~ says:
Think of THE most important nihilistic question, what do you think it is?
    Yakamaru... says:
    Umm...
    ~Daemon~ says:
Well, I think threes two most important nihilist question but whatever
    ~Daemon~ says:
    It's a W word
    Yakamaru... says:
    What is our propose
    Yakamaru... says:
    Why does anything exist?
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Nope, single word
    Yakamaru... says:
    I don't know
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Begins with W
    Yakamaru... says:
    What is it...?
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Similar to what
    Yakamaru... says:
    Where...
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Nope
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Think
    Yakamaru... says:
    Clues...
    ~Daemon~ says:
    I have
    ~Daemon~ says:
It's not what and its not where, you can use it to describe or question anything
    Yakamaru... says:
    World
    ~Daemon~ says:
It literally is a question, one word, begins with W
    Yakamaru... says:
    Why
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Yes
    Yakamaru... says:
    Hue...
    ~Daemon~ says:
Why are we here? Why do we not have a purpose?
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Etc
    ~Daemon~ says:
I may be pushing you too far, but when thinking about religion the question isn't "Why?" but "Why not?"
    Yakamaru... says:
    Good point
    ~Daemon~ says:
Now, do you think nihilists can not necessarily be religious, but believe in a God? (This is your opinion, theres no right or wrong)
    Yakamaru... says:
    Yes in a way
    Yakamaru... says:
    Something must determine
    Yakamaru... says:
    Fate
    ~Daemon~ says:
    However..?
    Yakamaru... says:
    Create time
    Yakamaru... says:
    However
    Yakamaru... says:
    ...
    ~Daemon~ says:
    You're on my track, but...
    ~Daemon~ says:
Assuming God does exist, is it necessary for a nihilist to worship them
    ~Daemon~ says:
    ?
    Yakamaru... says:
    No
    Yakamaru... says:
    If one chooses not to
    Yakamaru... says:
    It's his/her choice
    Yakamaru... says:
    He is in control
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Yes
    ~Daemon~ says:
    Because assume there is God
    ~Daemon~ says:
Assume there is heaven and hell
    ~Daemon~ says:
Still, God might have made us, sure
    ~Daemon~ says:
But whets the point in God? Why would he exist, what is HIS purpose?
    Yakamaru... says:
    But who is god
    ~Daemon~ says:
    All of us, I guess
    Yakamaru... says:
    And we have no point
    ~Daemon~ says:
See, even if a God does exist that still doesn't stop us being nihilist
    ~Daemon~ says:
Because God would still have no purpose

    So what do you think?

Is this the whole thing? Just asking, because novels are defined as being... like... 10,000+ words. If it isn't I'm sorry about asking, your writing could use a little bit of work. Grammaticaly.

Umm, well, I felt like it was more of JUST a conversation then a story, I don't know. This just isn't my kind of topic, you might want to talk to a more qualified person than I.

Pretty neat how you used an MSN conversation as the basis for your novel. It's a bit messy, but I like it. I've been working on a poem in this format for a while now.

The plot doesn't make much sense, but overall, cool. 8D
