Ninjask...

    He is one of my facorite pokemon, but I don't like using pokemon that "everyone" uses. Blissey, Skarmory, T-tat, mategross, etc.

    Do you think ninjask is too widely used?
     
    haha I know. but they are probably trying to set-up for a quick baton pass to a guy who does need high attack
     
    yes but it only works on ninjask not your whole team.

    BATON PASS is for people who don't want their pokemon to die and back them out of the battle. thats why i don't switch out unless its a type that will hurt me badly. like i use electivire against a salamence, who i suspect is going to use earthquake. so i switch it out to a gengar which isn't effected by it! thats smart stradegy.
     
    lol that's more what u-turn is for. Baton pass takes any stat ups you've gained and passes them to the next pokemon you switch out. A common moveset for ninjask is
    protect
    substitute
    swords dance
    u-turn

    you use protect to get the speed boost
    you use substitute get another speed boost
    use swords dance if the sub isn't dead you use baton pass

    then your next pokemon will have
    +2 Stage of attack
    +2 stage of speed
    and a substitute

    that is fantastic for a pokemon like tyranitar or really any pokemon

    no i actually can't agree to that. umbreon i have seen in more battles and they use baton pass for the right reason. he is the best baton passer.

    and you spelled t-tat instead of t-tar in the the opening post.
     
    yeah w/ mean look umbreon can trap a pokemon then send out one to deal with it accordingly, he can also use moonlight. He is also a great baton passer
     
    eh ninjask was my best member for a while

    then I realized it doesn't give me skills to be hiding and then destroying.
     
    Ninjask...just a speed BPer, attack if you're lucky. It's a total rip though, and I hate that thing. IT's a heck of a good BPer though.
     
    Don't mock Ninjask. Actually don't mock the move Baton Pass Anime. Baton Passers have a function in battling. Umbreon can kill given the right moves via Mean Look, Toxic, Wish/Moonlight and Baton Pass.

    Ninjask maybe frail but it has a base stat of 90 which is not to be taken lightly.

    U-Turn in the right hands can reek havoc on a team. It isnt a move for fleeing. It is a way for Scouting your opponent. U-Turn and send in a suitable counter which can change the tide of the battle. PokemonTrainerAlex you havent gone up against a Jumpluff or Wish passing Jirachi have you?

    I never said it was bad. Ninjask is a force...as much as many people like me hate it.

    Jolly Nature
    - Swords Dance
    - Substitute
    - Baton Pass
    - Filler

    Popular to lead but weak aganist Extremespeed and Quick Attack. Moves like Haze also.
