No more laziness. Its Wi-FI time
Every time a make a team it ends up on shoddy, not on Wi-Fi. For a change I am making sure this team goes on Wi-Fi. Not even testing it on Shoddy so I dont get bored of it.

    Introduction

This team is a team leaning towards offense, but is basically the standard set up. The EVs may be a bit weird, but I am only putting them up so this thread doesn't get blocked. I will post the EVs up when I have discovered the IVs. But still anty EV recommendations are welcome.

    Lead
[PokeCommunity.com] No more laziness. Its Wi-FI time

    Infernape @ Focus Sash
    Naive
    Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk 252 Sp Atk 192 Spe

    Moveset:
    Mach Punch
    Stealth Rock
    Close Combat
    Overheat/Fire Blast

Being more physically based the EVs could probably do some work. But this is a standard Leadape. Its job is to get out stealth rocks and sweep. I want the EVs so it is able to 2HKO Aerodactyl with Closecombat and Mach Punch. Hits Bronzong and Meta leads well. And anything that doesnt resist Overheat/ Fire Blast should be afraid of it.

[PokeCommunity.com] No more laziness. Its Wi-FI time

    Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
    Hasty/Timid
    Magnet Pull

EVs: 46 HP 252 SP Atk 220 Spe

    Moveset:
    Thunderbolt/ Discharge
    HP Fire
    Flash Cannon
    Explosion

EVs so he can outspeed and revenge kill any Infernape not holding a Choice Scarf. HP Fire to hit Scizor and Forretress, also to give him some type coverage. With his useless movepool Flash Cannon is a filler but can hit unsuspecting Ice and Rock types.

[PokeCommunity.com] No more laziness. Its Wi-FI time

    Gliscor @ Leftovers
    Impish
    Sand Veil

    EVs: 252 HP 40 Def 216 Spe

    Moveset:
    Earthquake
    Roost
    Aerial Ace
    UTurn/Night Slash/ Ice Fang/ Stone Edge/ Thunderfang/ Firefang/ Brick Break

Gliscors EVs allow it to outspeed Choice Scarf Heatran and KO with Earthquake. Unfortunately this is my best bet against Machamp and other fighters. Hopefully I can gain a KO before confusion from Dynamic Punch. Last slot undecided. Leaning towards uturn or icefang. Sand Veil so I may get the occasional miss with Sandstorm up.

[PokeCommunity.com] No more laziness. Its Wi-FI time

    Tyranitar @ leftovers
    Careful
    Sandstream

EVs: 236 HP 56 Def 216 Sp Def

    Moveset:
    Crunch
    Brick Break
    Rest
    Sleep Talk

Great special wall. With HP of 400 and SpDef 0f 436 it can take a stream of special attacks without taking much damage. Crunch and Brick Break offer good companions with not much resisting the pair, if anything. Brick Break can also break screens so is useful.

[PokeCommunity.com] No more laziness. Its Wi-FI time

    Starmie @ Choice Scarf
    Natural Cure
    Modest

    EVs:108 HP 148 Sp Atk 252 Spe

    Moveset:
    Ice Beam/Hydro Pump
    Thunderbolt/Hydro Pump
    Grass Knot
    Trick

This beast revenge kills and counters so many of todays threats. Salamence, Gyarados and Swampert to name a few. It can outrun a max speed DDed Salamence and can OHKO with Ice Beam. The problem with my old team was that I could do nothing to a Curselax after two curses, so Trick is to hopefully lock him into a move such as Rest or Sleep Talk. But now I see how good a starmie is.

[PokeCommunity.com] No more laziness. Its Wi-FI time

    Scizor @ Lifeorb/ Leftovers
    Adamant/ Jolly
    Technician

    EVs:40 HP 224 Atk 224 Spe or 28 HP 228 Atk 228 Spe

    Moveset:
    Swords Dance
    Bullet Punch
    Superpower
    Quick Attack/Roost/X-Scissor/Pursuit/Uturn

EVs are for minimal Life Orb recoil or max lefties recovery. The goal of Scizor is to switch in on something it resists e.g Celebi. Swords Dance on the switch and hit from there. He is my late game sweeper and a Bullet Punch from him is something to be scared of. Considering Jolly to outrun unscarfed Magnezone and K.0 with Brick Break. That is one of the reasons I changed to Swords Dance Scizor, because of all the Magnezone you see.

This team is for Wi-Fi so dont suggest something extremely hard to get, namely legendaries. Anyway good luck and rate away.

    very nice team
only things to warn you about are
-be careful of tyranitars special ability, it can do a toll on your pokemon too
-overheat vs fireblast on your ape, ask yourself would you rather hit with accuracy or lose some satk and sdef
-maybe put t-wave on magnezone instead of flash cannon since its a filler anyways
-the last move for gliscor is hard, i see why you would choose icefang and u-turn but remember bug wont do much damage on fighters like machamp
-i'd go with xscissor for scizors last move, its bug and things like celebi has 400% weakness

These are just things that went through my head as i read the team you have, overall the team sounds awesome, good luck man

    9/10

^I dont think SS hurts his team that much, 4 of them are immune.

Flash cannon is also cool move on Magnezone as it hits Tars and eases up on prediction with incoming ground types.

As for Ape, i generally prefer Encore >> Mach Punch. Encore is a fantastic move because it forces the majority of leads out and if ape sticks around untill later game it screws up stuff like said curselax who you mentioned as a potential problem (and also things like Cune). In addition it goes ololol at baton pass chains which is generally more useful than Mach Punch, bullying walls is pretty hilarious too.

Anyways, the biggest problem here is that Tyranitar looks kinda like set up fodder and so does Gliscor, also your team doesnt look as though it can hit hard, bar Scizor hence why curselax is a problem

I advise switching Tyranitar to the Choice Band variant (Sleep Talkers are very useless in the current metagame and because your team doesnt fear status in the least).

    Tyranitar@Choice Band
    176 HP / 252 ATT / 80 SPEED
    Admant Nature
    - Crunch
    - Pursuit
    - Stone Edge
    - Aqua Tail

Alternately you can use a much bulkier ev spread on tar (uber tar spread) of 252 hp / 42 att / 216 sp.def @ careful @Choice Band, this is better for weathering hits on the special side and helps with switching into things like tran and gengar etc so that might be a good option.

Swords Dance Gliscor might be nice too.

    Just some general thoughts here.

I will probaly go with fireblast

I may consider the Encore on Ape, but considering the TTar my team just doesnt really have a status absorber. Sure, I have Starmie, but thats just a waste of time as I would have to switch in to take the status and then switch out to get rid of it. The ubertar spread looks interesting but it would mean I lack a solid status absorber.

Just a question... do you think pursuit would work well with Scizor... not just for trapping Pschics but type coverage aswell?

Status absorbers are rarely useful and are more of a hinderance in the current metagame. Besides your team really doesnt care about status.

As for Pursuit on SD Scizor, no. X-Scissor/BB/SD/BP is the best set for it.

Will Scizor be able to OHKO Magnezone with an unboosted Brick Break? And do you think Gliscor really needs aerial Ace? It does do great agaist breloom and mahamp but thats all

    394 Atk vs 266 Def & 271 HP (75 Base Power): 208 - 246 (76.75% - 90.77%)
Nope, an unboosted Brick Break doesn't OHKO Magnezone.

So i will run Life Orb over lefties which should almost guarantee the KO

No, my calculations factored in the Life Orb boost.

Brick Break should threaten to KO as i would have attacked the turn before or SDed up

Because of not being able o OHKO im running Uturn so unscarfed Magnezone still cant take me down

So you are gonna lose your SD boost to u-turn ? =/

Dude just use Super Power if you want to OHKO Magnezone.

No i wouldnt do that cause i could easily KO with Brick break earlier. UTurn if i didnt have an SD boost

Fantastic strategy, except Brick Break doesn't come close to an OHKO. You're going to eat an HP Fire and die. Superpower >>> Brick Break please. Superpower is still stronger than Brick Break after the drop.
