5th Gen No more new evolutions??!!

    As several of you already know, the 5th generation games will only have 5th gen. pokemon in their regional pokedex. So maybe there won't be new evolutions. For example, in order to create a new Sableye evolution they need to add Sableye in their regional dex to add its new evolution... or maybe it will be like D/P that some new evolutions (like porygon-z, gliscor, gallade, etc.) weren't added in the regional dex but they were added in the national one.

    So what do you think?? do you think it will be the same as D/P?
     
    YEah exactly maybe the evoltuion will come in the national dex.
     
    Well, only introducing 100 new Pokemon would give us a very small regional dex, so there would have to be 151 in the Isshu Pokedex, plus about 12 new evolutions hidden D/P style, so that's about 165 new Pokemon, compared to the amount of Pokemon introduced with each new generation:

    Generation 1: 151 Pokemon
    Generation 2: 100 Pokemon
    Generation 3: 135 Pokemon
    Generation 4: 107 Pokemon
    CURRENT TOTAL: 493 Pokemon

    Add said 165 to the current 493:

    That's 658 Pokemon in total, making Gen 5 the largest generation yet.....

    So I say like D/P, since this is apparently the direction Nintendo seems to be going with the franchise.....
     
    Well, if there are new evolutions, such as for Luvdisc, I think that it would work in the same way that HG/SS dealt with new evolutions, such as Mime Jr. and Bonsly, by using held items for breeding.
     
    I don't really mind if there are no new evolutions for the older pokemon EXCEPT Dunsparce!!! C'mon, that thing is the most underused pokemon ever! Just give it an evolution and the rest can stay how they are :S
     
    I'll be like DP hopefully so after the storyline E4 & Champion you can evolve some Pokemon!
    I am sure there will be new evo I mean look and Mamebou I am like 99.99% sure Mamebou will be Luvdisc's evo
     
    well problem with all this is its rumored that pokemon b/w wont have any of the old pokemon in it before national dex so i would doubt you can breed to make old ones if none of them are going to be in the game pre national dex. most likely mamebou might be able to be cought in the wild

    It was shown appearing in the last videos released while the trainer was surfing. When I saw that I posted in the 5th Gen Eveolution discussion saying that Mamanbou may not be an Evolution since it was found in the wild and Luvdisc don't exist in the game pre-National Dex.
     
    In Gen 4's early games All the baby Pokemon could be found in the wild except for Riolu. Heart Gold and Soul Silver non of the incense baby Pokemon could be found until you got all 8 badges and found the incenses to make them.
     
    Most of the incense's in HGSS were only obtainable after you got Rock Climb.
     
    I think Mamanbou is a Luvdisc Evo, plus this is the largest gen, We are bound to see some new Evos appearing soon.
     
    It's possible that the older gen. Pokemon will get new evolutions in Gen V; they just won't appear until you get the National Dex.
     
    Discussing when they have evolutions in-game doesn't really have a point.

    Just wait and see if it happens? :D
