No more new Wave-Guiding for the English dub?

    Okay, I've been waiting a few months on this item, waiting to see how it would play out. However, now is a good time as any. As you may or may not know, PUSA has not aired the Riolu/Pokemon Ranger two parter in any discernable share or form (to my knowledge). No episode title, as they just skipped to the Dustox departure episode, instead.

    Is PUSA holding the episode back for something special, or it's too difficult to dub, or is it banned, or? Does anyone know? Or, I'm just being terribly out of the loop, here?
     
    They're most likely waiting for that non-Platinum game to come out in November or October. It's that new Ranger one, if I remember correctly.
     
    Yeah, they're waiting for Ranger like they waited for DP, I suppose.
     
    That's because most people assumed they would wait, and May was coming. No-one knew they would stop randomly one week hahaha so everyone paniced, so funny

    I was thinking the second episode of Battle Dimension, but, yeah, the sooner it aired, the sooner May would arrive. Craziness.

    Still, I found it amusing after the dust settled (after I tried to calm people down). Or, I'm getting cynical in my old age. Heh.

    Edit: Complaining and moaning? You bet. Though, this may be warranted, as this was supposed to air in August, I believe?
     
    I could be mistaken. They add celebration once every 8 years.

    Edit: The only reason I wanted May back is because of her voice. I love it.
     
    They could be waiting for the Shadows of Almia game to approach. Hypothetically, if I were in charge, I would probably want to air the episode to promote sales of Shadow of Almia.

    1. Kids see Aura Sphere Riolu in episode
    2. Kids go omg that's so cool
    3. Kids discover from Pokemon.com that Shadows of Almia will allow you to download the Aura Sphere Riolu.
    4. Kids go crazy to buy the game for Riolu (as well as Darkrai if they missed it).

    But if they aired the episode about 2 months before it comes out, kids would be less enthusiastic about the game. This is just my speculation as to why they may with hold the episode.

    But if they choose not to air the episode at all, that would be a bummer too.

    Indeed, especially if the episode doesn't have a reason not to be aired. From what I can discern of the prior banned episodes, they usually had a good reason (except for the Ice Cave, but I can understand why they did it).
     
    The fandom pimps out Riolu a lot for some reason. They pimp it out as much as the writers do to Piplup. But they complain about Piplup. I bet if it was "Ash's Riolu" they wouldn't complain at all.

    Why do people want Ash to have one? I can't comprehend it.

    I think it's because of game canon and the Lucario movie. It seems right to them, even though, I don't think it fits Ash, at all (it doesn't fit his image, as it's too badass for him).

    Piplup is shoved down our throats, being out for no reason for episodes on end, almost "equal" to Pikachu (not allowed) and we hardly see Dawn's other Pokemon, when it didn't do this at the start. Lucario was in the 8th movie, it looks cool and so does Riolu and because it would go to Ash, no-one would mind because at least we'll see it once in a while after every region. That's what I think people would think, anyway.
     
    Riolu isn't cool, nor does it look it :classic:. But it's pretty annoying having people say Ash needs it or start a Riolu for Ash Club.
     
    For those impatient, there are subs of these episodes. PM me or google and you shall find it.
    Imo, subs are much better than the dubbed version :p

    Anyway, as all previous posters have said, they want to release it simuntaneously with the new Ranger game in Novemer.

    Granted, there is always the sub, but that isn't the point. The point is, "what's PUSA going to do?" That's all, as far as I'm concerned.

    I thought I answered you. But there's no such thing as an episode to "hard to dub, so just be patient, that is a true virtue XD. The question should be, though,: Are they going to show as a special or two separate episodes?

    I should have re-stated that. I meant "what's PUSA going to do in terms of release?"

    I think it will be a special, as they released the Deoxys special as one episode (which it was), right?

    Then, they smooshed both the first three D/P episodes and the Tag Team three-parter into "special" movies. So, I think it will be presented in such a manner.
