Okay, to all of you who have completed the main part of the game, in the credits they start from 4th gen starters down to 3rd and then to....1st????!!!

So why did they skip them, does it have something to do with the gold and silver cards???

Heres my theory, nintendo started planning to do a Gold and Silver remake for the DS, so that when they're done, the data from the remakes are transported to PBR and then you get the gold and silver cards, which unlock the mystery gift so u can put them into your remakes or D/P games.

Now, i know some of u are thinking "If this is true, why havnt they told us?? And by the time it comes out, won't we be on to some other game??" My theory to these questions are simple, it wont take but a few months to make the game, d/p already has the sprites, all they need to do is copy the map from the originals, and add on any of the other extra stuff like they did in lg/fr, and release the games, completely simple.

you forgot that they have to copy the game and add alot of thing like the underground updates and some other thingies they also have to create the events like the lugia and ho-oh and when the dogs are released it well take quite a while and the can't do all what me/you said but the thoery about the remakes is maybe true and that the silver/gold cards maybe reltead to the strater disappering

The second generation of pokemon can be found dispersed throughout Ruby Sapphire Fire Red Leaf Green and Emerald. as for the legendaries and starters, I refer you to Pokemon XD and Colosseum. There is no need to produce another game involving the second generation, because all of those pokemon are already available.

    Woah, I just saw that.

But just because it didn't show them means Nintendo is conspiring a mass Johto release...

A G/S remake would make the biggest success in Pokémon ever, but everyone that completed the Emerald Hoenn Dex or passed Colosseum/XD or restarted FR/LG in search of the dogs would suicide after knowing the starters and legendaries are now so easy to get. Nintendo really did hint us there wasn't going to be a G/S remake. Even if you forget about importing, D/P has every single Pokémon except for starters and legendaries which shows they're alone in this generation, unlike R/S that had only 202 from 386. The "Johto" location found in the ROMs as well as the G/S/C references in D/P could mean there is really one in the way, but it could also mean there isn't going to be, and rather than leaving Johto alone, they put some elements from it in memory of the original Gold and Silver. Also, at the pal park, they tell you they see Pokémon coming from Kanto and Hoenn. This, and the "Johto" location available in the trainer's memo could also have been left like that just in case.
