Hm, I didn't know that rule existed until now, but I agree that it's a good one. Now spammers can't join just to post porno links all over the place o.O

However, I also agree that it's really not that hard to make 15 posts and some spammers unfortunately do have enough patience to meet those requirements.
 
I think it's really good idea. I mean, you wouldn't want people posting things or putting it in their things or PMing people saying things like, "Hey, check this out! Join this forum! It's great!" And doesn't post anything else, and that would be wasting their time registering... Then again, some people gets 15 posts of spam them advertise straight away (though, I never seen that actually happen, then again, they might be banned spamming and telling complete nonesense...)

And 15 posts can't be easily obtained with a half hour effort?
Well there's no reason to actually make a thread on it...just get to know the board a bit more, then you go back to using your url. Not that hard is it?
 
I think its good, cuz its helpful, also useful.
