For those of you with the Japanese games, a new WiFi event has been announced. This event, to tie in with the launch of spin-off game Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition, offers the download of a shiny Rayquaza based upon the shiny Rayquaza owned by Nobuanga within the game. This Rayquaza is Level 70 and knows the moves: Dragon Pulse, Ancientpower, Outrage and Dragon Dance. It has no hold item. This distribution will run from March 17th 2012 to April 16th 2012 giving a month to download it. This distribution will also run at the Pokémon BW Searcher tour in Japan

And remember there's going to be a V-Create Rayquaza event soon too. Hoenn remake hints, much?

I hope these are hints and we have the Hoenn Pokémon Bullet Train event.. although they could just be coincidences... nonetheless I'm looking forward to getting Rayquaza.

THAT WAS MY FIRST THOUGHT! Seriously, they've been hinting at it left and right.

But anyways, it'd be nice to finally get a Shiny Rayquaza. I've gotta say, it definitely looks cool. I don't have the Japanese version, but hopefully it will make it's way to Amurricka? >:

This is very appleasing news to me! Even if it doesn't come to English games, there's also trading right? Rayquaza is one of my favourite Pokémon, and one of my favourite shiny Pokémon. Also more hints for a Hoenn remake is very good news.

Unless you are in Japan. No.

Rayquaza was Voted for by Japan. America (thinks it was just america, it may be all international English speaking regions) got Arceus.

No, no hints at Gen 3 Remakes.

Almost. In the Japanese version of the vote for any Pokemon, they too chose Arceus. IRIC, the Rayquaza was another poll where they could choose a legendary, and Rayquaza win. Nevertheless, you're right that I wouldn't say either of the Rayquaza's are hints. ones due to a poll, and the other is due to a new game being released, and is just being released to try and market that. Personally, I take all these 'hints' as the opposite. if the Hoenn legendaries are distributed so much, surely the need for a Hoenn remake would be less? Oh well, these are just my thoughts.

I agree w/ the above tbh. Like with Black and White, and their relation to B2/W2, because they certainly didn't give out a promotional Kyurem leading up to the announcement to B2/W2. ;x

Either way, hopefully English countries get it, but I sorta doubt that. Consider that there's about 3 months to B2/W2 - and generally they don't really do events for older games once the new ones are released AND there's still a whole lot of unreleased event Pokemon from Japan, so unless they wanna rush that out soon after B2/W2 is released for Japan, I kinda doubt it.

Too bad I bought the european version T.T
That shiny Rayquaza is so cool!

I think they'll do the Shiny Rayquaza event for other countires when Nobunaga's ambition+Pokemon comes out in those countries. As for the bullet train events...I doubt we'll see them coming to the rest of the world. Also the reason for why they're releasing all these Hoenn pokemon is also because it's been 10 years since RS came out in japan...most likely to make up for the fact of no remakes this year.
