Non-Ending Cycle?

I Think that pokemon is a Non-Ending Cycle in terms of newer generations. EX:

R/B/Y
then

G/S/C
then

Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald
then

FR/LG
then

D/P/PL
then

HG/SS

Right now this is what I expect in a few years:

5th Generation Games
then

Ruby and Sapphire Remake
then

6th Generation Games
Then

Diamond and Pearl Remake
and lot more!

So do you think that Pokemon is a non-ending cycle?

I'd like to think, eventually they'll stop adding new regions and Pokemon, settle down on a certain battle scheme, tweak all stats and movesets and just have it updated every year or so. Or at least that is what I hope.

Hopefully they don't keep coming out with new Pokemon, new evolutions and new regions because one, you're going to make Pokemon a little gay like Digimon got, two, there are already some Pokemon they shouldn't have messed around with by giving them evolutions and three, how big of a world can you make before you realize hey, I think ten different continents are enough XD

Agreed. Although, since the regions are based on Japan, maybe they'll be done creating new regions once they run out of Japanese areas to base the regions off of?

Right now, there are 12 pokemon movies...I can a imagine in like 10 years that there will approximately 22 pokemon movies and that's a lot and I think that if Gamefreak keep adding more regions and more pokemon, it will harder to complete the national dex... Can you imagine that you have to collect about 700 pokemon to complete the national dex in like 6th or 7th generation?

I heard on another forum a solid opinion that since Arceus is created, no new pokemon can follow. It'd be cool, new Pokemon.
