Hack Name: Pokemon Dark Abyss
Hack of: Fire red
Additional info: Well the story is rather long, but I've been told it's very good.
Anyway, in short...
Two worlds lied peacefully parallel to eachother, completely ignorant of eachothers' existence. Separating the two worlds is a giant fissure; the dark abyss.
All was well, until Giratina was suddenly enraged, and bursted out of the abyss, and in blind fury, destroyed everything it saw, in hopes of finding out what disturbed it.
Until the lone warrior, Hokkaido, slew the beast and sealed it into an opal, which he threw down the abyss.

Years later, you are a thirteen year old, and prepare for a completely normal Pokemon journey (as normal as that gets) until you stumble upon an ancient legend and learn your true identity.

Finished :like, 4% 1 town, 3-4 scripts.

What is needed: A GOOD MAPPER. I DID get better at mapping recently, but mapping Viridian City is a pain. That's where YOU come in. (yay for caps)

Additional Information about the Hack:Once, the evil organization called Team BackSLASH was plotting to take over the world by transforming Pokemon back into their more primitive states. A state where little brains ruled the Pokemon's body and their feirce attacks leveled anything in sight. A state where the Pokemon had large powerful bodies, but no obidience to their trainers (no trainers at this time anyway).

A hero awakened in the Yoran region named Davis. He defeated many BackSLASH subordinates and commanders. He destoyed evil plans for world domination. He was never defeated, not even by Ash, the world's greatest trainer. He finally thwarted Ronald's final plan to transform all pokemon into huge, prehistoric beasts. Davis, your father, died in an accident trying to restore a growlithe to it's original state. Thus, you never met your father. This part of the story doesn't affect you at all.

Here we go... your part in the world...

You wake on your fourteenth birthday, ready to recieve your first Pokemon and master the Pokemon League. You rush to Prof. Hungyn, the most famous Pokemon researcher of all, to obtain your little friend. You find that he has experimented with countless brain waves and totally destroyed the gene that caused prehistoric Pokemon to fail. Your starter Pokemon just so happens to be a newly hatched, recently thought extinct, primitive Pokemon.

You set out with your new (Starter's name here) _____________ ready to brave all challenges. The question is, can you over come your fears and thwart the new "Heroes of Darkness" aka Team BackSLASH's new gang, or will you plumit to your knees in defeat?

I want to make a hack because I'm bored. Only problem is, I have no idea how. I can edit text to a somewhat good extent but in other departments... I don't know how to change the way the houses etc are on the OW. (see? I can't even talk technically...)

I'm here again and plan on creating a new hack of FR because I like the fact that there's more space in the game

Hack name- Electric Yellow

This hack is probably the first that will recreate the entire Pokemon adventure series into a game featuring everything in the original game but completely showing red's side of the story unlike the comic series.

Hack Completion- The game is still in the making and has just started so all I have is the sprites of all the pokemon, all the original trainers and the very beginning of the story continuing from Giovanni's gym and bulbasaur. I'd say about 30% complete. There will be an attempt to revamp yellow version spprites of the trainer and pokemon so the game will become more original and thats not done so 30% is 30.

Current Team- Well this is the recruiting thread so... (Its just me but I'm no n00b, I just don't have a lot of resources or time)

My hacking skills include spriting (all), mapping (there won't be many changes here except the events so I won't need much help in this area), pokedex and pokemon editing, titlescreen editing, most graphics (I'm only going to change some item looks and some attack looks but thats it so not much help there)

What I require is a scripter (one that can understand and create commands for the game along with events and understands enough about offsets to create simple messages in game), and a region map maker who can rotate the kanto map to make it face down where pallet town starts so that lavender tower is north and can replace the sevii islands with the orange islands, and move the kanto map over just a bit so that silver cave can be inserted into the game. (maybe X-buster [you caaannn help me right?])
