Nostalgic Pokemon

Hey guys!
Just got back into Pokemon and I have been behind! Just wanted to share my love with the old school pokemon. Post your favorite old school Pokemon Card ranging from the 1st set series to the Neo! I would love to see what you guys like!

This card appealed to me because of how the flames kind of compliment the background. hahahaha

I only have card aup to the remake of R/B
my favourite old school cards are gyarados (the holo card) and poliwrath(holo). They are kick ass cards. and my first card ever , which is the Jungle deck Pikachu <3

I am sucker for water decks and water pokes . Waterfall-deck forever <3

my other favourite cards are the Team rocket secret machines . I have got all the trainer cards of the old school rocket sets .

Nice choice Morrison! Another choice of mine is the Porygon card from the base set.This card just reminded me of the n64 age. I liked how they incorporated 3D models into this pokemon. It's also funny that we thought that 64bit was the best graphic for games. lol

I don't really have any specific cards that make me nostalgic for the older sets. Also, not everyone here played or collected during the TCG's Wizards of the Coast years, so we should change the topic up to cards that make you nostalgic, no matter what set it's from.

Im a fan of this one since its labled as a legendary pokemon and feachers in one of the first cartoons on a tablet next to articono, zapdos and motress.

I reckon it was a very poorly designed card. For it's Hp, move damage and since it is sometimes considered as rare as the three legendary birds it's only an uncommon card and no holographic version of it. Entirely stupid if you ask me. Is it unjust to have someone as crap as hitmonchan at a holographic and not Arcanine?

Yer the cards really did mess it up but I think origanly they planed on arcanie being stronger then pulled it back in faver of the legandery dogs (entai, rico and squicon) in the 2nd gen. Alos if I had to get 4 energy I would have wanted 80 dammage strate off

The Hitmonchan card actually was more powerful than that Arcanine because it could readily have done 80 damage to Arcanine by the time Arcanine was able to do even one of its attacks. Hitmonchan was good in the Haymaker deck, while Arcanine was outshone in potential in the fire types by Charizard.

I thought moltress was always good, once had a deck with 4 molteress and all the rest were fire energy, as you can imagen it involved a lot of resuffalig of cards befor play

Yeah, those types of mulligan decks got banned at tournaments. I remember making a Mewtwo Mulligan deck on Pokemon PlayIt! v.2, and I won simply by decking my opponent due to how the TCG rules were then.

It took something fromt the game but my game boy colour vertion made it quicker to use. I rember seeing the ban on the deck and was happy wth it, I always thought for hight level challanges you should have been limited on the ratity number als to give a higher challage to the game as well as an extra dimention, eg like only 7 black star rare ect.

Pokemon play it, that brings me back, not sure it TCG online is that muc better with it running in flash, would love to see it on bot tablet markets (iOS and Android) or even a desktop clent but im guessing the pc ertion would be a no as they would frae loosing ther card scan data too much I guess.
