I can't trade special Pokémon and I would like to know how to trade special Pokémon so I can do giveaways of shiny Pokémon that I have a bunch of shiny legendary's for the trade any special Pokémon and I would like to know how to trade special Pokémon so I can do giveaways of shiny Pokémon that I have a bunch of shiny legendary's but it says I can't trade any special Pokémon and the same is with battles I am not allowed to battle with any special Pokémon even though I want to and it says play with legendary's I click that and it says you're not allowed to play with this in the special Pokémon because it is a special Pokémon

Unfortunately, you're not able to GTS or Wonder Trade anything designated as a Special Pokemon; in fact, many of these can't be traded at all now in the seventh generation. Unfortunately, you won't be able to give them away unless you give them to a friend by using Bank to put them on their cartridge.

As for battling, every format and mode has different rules. There are several different classifications of Pokemon, too; even if you can use Legendary Pokemon, you may not be able to use Mythicals, or something like that. You could also be running into an issue because some battle modes only allow Alola-native Pokemon. Unfortunately, I'm not as well informed with regard to battles, but I hope this helps a bit!

You can trade those special Pokémon via direct link trade only. A lot of Streamers/Youtubers do GTS and Wonder Trade giveaways of "Special Pokémon", but it's because they're all hacked.
