3rd Gen Not Obtainable Legendary Pokemon

    I read The Official Strategy Guide and it says Ho-Oh, Lugia, Mew and Deoxys are not Obtainable. Neither is Island 4-9.

    If it is some thing you have to get from Nintendo then how do i get it then
     
    Welcome to PC first of all ^^ Hope that you'll have a great time here.

    Now first of all, "official strategy guides" are worthless as they're QUITE INACCURATE compare to unofficial ones. You're quite likely better off using the internet as your resource.

    Ho-oh and Lugia are obatinable through nintendo promotions (8th island)

    Deoxys is also obtainable but only through promotions (9th island)

    However, Island 4 to 6 are certainly within reach. Just defeat the elite 4 with catching a certain amount (I believe is 60 out of my memory) Pokemon, and you'll be able to reach those islands (they dont' have legendaries though.)

    Mew and Celebi are still unobtainable in anyway so far.

    Every now and then Nintendo holds special events where they give stuff out, Usually they take place in big cities like New York. The rest of us...we have to resort to other ways of getting the stuff. FRLG hasn't even come out yet so don't bother looking for the Aurora Ticket or whatever it is they give out...
     
    mmm they usally have promotions in the big citys.like sydney because i live in australia.
     
    Yeah, they'll probably have a one-day special event, like they did in the UK for the EON Ticket. I just hope you can transfer the new tickets between carts like you could with the EON Ticket.
     
    yeah but it's kinda of a dissapointment that nintendo gave japan mew,celebii,dexoys,jirachi,ho-oh and lugia. i was kinda angry cause japan got the good pokemon.
     
    I dont like it that you have to have special tickets and things like that to get certain pokemon..I think all the pokemon should be obtainable within the game without using any kind of cheat code are ticket are any thing like that...
     
    there obtainable never listen to the stratagey guides.
     
    Yea I know they are. But have to use special tickets and game promotions and all kind of stuff like that to get them..i wish it would be like there were wild...are u have to go threw some kind of cave to get them...like the sky pillar to get rayquaza
     
    From promotions PokeCenter i New York City is good to caught
     
    agonix is right it is a new york city where there will be like a pokemon centre where they trade the rainbow ticket...
     
    Yea, they might have promotions in New York but I dont think I'm gunna cross have the country for a couple of pokemon on a game...Now if there would be one close to were i live..then thats cool..but they only go to the big cities and forgot about all the little towns
     
    Its hard to find the pokemon centre at new york... when is the promotion over????
    i wanted go there IF i had the time....
