Issue: Notification doesn't disappear

I have a "liked post" notification that doesn't disappear even when I click on it to go to the post. I think it's because the post of mine that was liked was in a thread that got merged with another. How to make it disappear?

There's a little X next to the notification, have you tried clicking that?
