He might not have known it was yours but edited one he thought was authentic. But you still shouldn't do edits in this competition. It's to show your own talent.
 
Beating yourself up about it wont solve anything, taking the entry down or crediting signomi and getting her permission might do the trick.

Heh, I did a wintery pixel drawing of some stickmen having a snowball fight and one's making a snowman. I did it before school this morning. In like 5 minutes.
