Back in the day I and my then very young son loved collecting Pokemon. We really got into it and created a quite massive collection, which started right at the beginning and ended with the Legendary Collection. I haven't really looked at the Pokeworld since, until a month or so ago. So I went from fairly knowledgeable about the older stuff to not having a clue about anything since.

I've been looking at some of the recent sets with an eye to maybe buying again. What I can't find is anything about 1st Edition for the more recent sets. Have manufacturers stopped making 1st Edition cards or can someone point me in the right direction?

1st Edition cards stopped with Neo Destiny, the set before Legendary Collection, actually. We haven't had 1st Edition cards in any English sets since.

Japanese sets, coincidentally, started getting 1st Edition cards not long after with the release of their Pokemon VS set, but their last set with 1st Edition stamps was Expansion Pack 20th Anniversary, which was released internationally as XY: Evolutions.
