NPC nicknames

Were there any NPCs that you (and/or your friends) gave nicknames to?

I remember grinding a lot of Emerald with my friend and he kept babbling on about how great e4 Drake was, so he ended up calling him "Grake" and the name caught on.

Hmmm... nope! Not as far as I know. If anything I could barely pronounce half of their names so those can be counted as nicknames haha.

Do the NPC rivals you get to assign names to count? Like Blue and Silver?
