Yes I figured out that you could clean your badges when I got my first badge in Pokemon Pearl. You can clean it up until you see four sparkles.

Lol I just found out that now. Thanks for telling me. ^_^ (I thought it only went up to two sparkles.)

I like playing songs on my badges though, but usually I go really badly offtune.

I've known for a long time now, but I can't really be bothered. I just get them to 0 sparkle shine (not black ,not grey, but normal colour you get it, and I leave it there.

Started playing Platinum, left it alone a bit. Came back, thought I was playing Diamond, saw all my badges gone, thought they were so dull they were black.
