And I love mathematics. I'm in Calculus II next semester, so I gotta beef up on it after a year of being mathematically idle. But I wrote two songs for my high school Trigonometry course, and one of them was actually the "Trigonometry Identity Song", set to a tune by Tom Lehrer.

Wait until you get to differential equations... my old Physics teacher told me in high school that everyone has their own differential equation nightmare, and he was right. Good thing I figured out the "shortcut formula":

For, say, Ax^b, d(Ax^b) = ([A*b]^[b-1])

And thus, the integration of Ax^b would be: {(A/[b+1])x^[b+1]}

Of course, that's the most simple form you'll ever see. :-/

That's not really the case... I mean, I paint. And I write poetry/songs, so it's not always "some people are math, some people are art". Hell, I just did a rendition of Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory" for my painting course up at uni. And I'm pretty damn proud of it. XD

I remember I could not for the life of me get this one color right, and I was mixing paints like mad. All of a sudden, I mixed in a tad more white, and said out loud in class, "Oh s***... I got it!" It was like a freaking revelation, I was so proud of myself. haha

Only problem was I used nearly my entire tube of yellow. You never realize the colors some painters used until you break it down and paint it yourself. There's more yellow than brown in that Dali piece, and I can say that from experience.

And EDIT:
