This game shouldn't be affected by them being purchased by Microsoft. At most it would release on GamePass on launch day.

Well, minecraft did release on PlayStation as well despite all the odds. So, it's very much possible Microsoft MIGHT let Obsidian release their stuff on competing consoles...

Minecraft was already on the PS4, so it would have been silly for Microsoft to stop supporting it.
