Some staff members have created joke emblems purely for their distribution - you can get it by doing extremely specific. Any member chosen can get one.

You get that particular emblem by posting a certain number of times in the Photos thread.

Aha okay I get you. Its like that knight of hyrule and the pichu's axe thing right? And well no but yeah I just thought in general the past. XD
 
How do you end up with the "NONONO!" emblem?
 
Not my fault the past means everything to me including Nintendo. XD
 
I think its the #1 fan one. You know totally obsessed with the character.

Hm, I actually don't know. I could say it's possible; however I can't make any promises. You'll have to get a staff member to answer that one.
 
True. I mean if say you loved 80s music so much you listened to nothing else(possibly but very rarely you would) that you are just obsessed with them.
 
If you read the description of that emblem, the answer to these questions (and so many more, for that matter) would be fairly obvious. :(
 
This may be pretty obvious (I haven't got an emblem yet so I wouldn't know but...) if you get an emblem, do you get a notification or does it just appear? (Feels stupid :P)
 
You get a PM saying

You've Just Received A New Community Emblem!

Or something like that XD

I've gotten 6 and i was notified the same way each time
 
Whoever's giving the emblem can choose to send a notification, which was previously stated is in the form of a personal message, or not to give one. By default, it sends a notification to the member. The PM is entitled "You've gotten a new PokéCommunity emblem!" and it's sent from the staff member who gave you that emblem.

There's also a choice to send the notification through an email message, though from the staff members I've spoken to, they don't use that option.
