This is the official emotions guide for Pokemon Heart gold and Soul silver.
All sprites have been re-drawn by me please give credit it you use them.
All information has been recorded by me and many other dedicated PC users so please give credit if you use this elsewhere.

Oh, nice. Might add this to the faq when it gets completed actually, if you want. =)

I do recall some ones when i played the Japanese version - such is in the radio tower during the takeover - on some levels with grunts my Pokemon always responded angrily. I also recall someone saying their fire-type Pokemon disliked being in in the water in Chuck's gym - could be a fair few specifics to test out.

Also some for the Sprout Tower, as I go back to check for you with my Bellsprout:

'Bellsprout is dancing around the pillar!' (turns on the spot, music note)
'Bellsprout swayed around, dancing in a strange manner'. (rocks back and forth for a while, music note)
'Bellsprout swayed and danced around as it pleased (music note, followed by long side-step dancing)
'____ is sniffing at the floor' ('...' sign, turns around slower than the above)

The above Bellsprout does often - but the following was done when not on the 1st level (higher up):
'Bellsprout is concerned about the swaying pillar'. (..., no action) EDIT: Ok Bellsprout was worried about the pillar on the first floor finally...once out of over 50 'talks', when others had it around 2-3 times in only ten.

Other Pokemon also danced like so...but were more often concerned about the pillar from my tests, and Bellsprout danced far more than any other Pokemon there. (IMO bell danced over half the time and most of the rest of the time itwas being happy/had a love heart, the other Pokemon a quarter or less of dancing). and also got a 'Chikorita was nervous' on the top level before the head sage. Seems it is inclined for Bellsprout to prefer it. I like this level of detail. =)

Oh, and for my Hoppip just the once: 'Hoppip slipped on the floor and seems likely to fall!' (exclamation mark)

I don't mind, but I'd add a footnote that the 'dancing' ones seems to occur more for Bellsprout there and so forth (pretty sure of this thus far given the results). Also personally I would just leave it as *pokemon name* or '_____' instead of celebi in case people thing these are Celebi specific or something, but that's my two cents I suppose. =P Would also mean less editing/further clarity in cases where other Pokemn have specific ones or a different ratio of reactions to places (like as mentioned if fire-types hate the water in Chuck's gym more than other Pokemon... or if Celebi itself happens to like Ilex forest's shrine or something more than other Pokemon?)

I think some of the emotions (or reactions, I suppose) are pokemon specific. If not, there are A LOT of emotions, which is an awesome thing. Here are some of the ones I've encountered with my starter pokemon.

Cyndaquil looks like it wants to lead! (Happy)
Cyndaquil blew out a fireball. (Music Note)
Cyndaquil blew out a couple of fireballs. (Music Note)
Cyndaquil is nipping at your feet! (Music Note)
Cyndaquil seems to want to return to the lab. (After acquiring the Mystery Egg, when you are supposed to return to the lab. Maybe some kind of helping mechanism?)
Your pokemon stretched out and relaxed! (In home, Happy Face)
Cyndaquil is sniffing around the room. (Inside Hero's Room, Music Note)
Your pokemon is smelling the scent of the flowers. (When next to flowers in Cherrygrove City)
Your pokemon has a flower petal on its face! (Exclamation Point - running into home town)
Cyndaquil is sniffing you (this isn't an exact one, I'll restart my extra gold game to recheck it, but I know it was something like this - he wasn't sniffing the ground.)

As for the "Pokémon-specific" emoticons, I think those are for just the starters?
