1 West of Cianwood, waterfalls, rivers, new areas, could it be a Fight/survival area style? or a Pal Park?

2 Battle Tower, coincidence that a cloud is covering the location where battle tower in pokemon Crystal was located? If you look closely you can distinguish part of a building there!

3 Lake of rage, i know i know you are gonna mention that maze like place where you got a rada rada item from a rada rada dude, but check it out, I find it bigger and has alot of precense of water

4 The one everybody noticed next to national park, by many seen as a GTS center but honestly I see it more like a stadium if you zoom it, maybe a place for pokemon contests?

5 Big building west of goldenrod city, its pointy, prolly due to an antenna making it a GTS center or maybe a trainer tower, who knows o.o

6 of course that is the rail of the magnet train confirming it exists and obviously magnet train = Saffron city which = Kanto

7 Same as above, the magnet train rails continue in direction to Kanto

8 Route 22 is seen clearly, it connects directly with Viridian city - Kanto.

Yeah I love you all too

I'm glad that you pointed out all of the differences on the new map! I didn't even realize that the Lake of Rage was a little different

Yeah, we got kanto. I noticed the bridge that leads to Tohjo falls and whatnot.

Any smell a hint of Platinum on the top left corner?
Hmmm... Looks a lot like clouds and mountins to me, i think we need the Sinnoh map to confirm this maybe O_o .......

Yay, now we know that there's going to be Kanto, this should be great, thanks :D

Wow! All these changes are making me wicked excited for it!

cool, thanx now maybe its official that kanto is included and it would be awesome to experience where everything started in D/P/P graffics, nice going;)

This is really neat. I cannot wait until I get the game! <3

New areas..the one near the fighting gym looks to be a Pal Park kind of deal. Maybe a fight area. Both already suggested though.

I now think that the new area by Cianwood is going to end up being some kind of game..

It looks like it has different areas, sandy, grassy, forest, watery, etc. This would mean that its obviously some kind of place for pokemon, possibly a pokemon reserve?
Add to this the fact all pokemon have overworlds, this may serve as a kind of zone you visit and see pokemon walking around...possibly something you fill up yourself like oak's reserve?...

Well, that's exactly what I'd love for it to be!

I was sorta jumping into my own conclusions, like maybe PAL park could be the Safari Zone in Fuschia city, the map could be used instead of hacing it closed down like in the GSC games. Thats nothing oficial tho, its only something that came to my mind.

WOW! I actually was originally thinking something along the lines of this :D
    It's such a sweet idea!

I just figured it would make sense since they spent so much effort/time/money on making overworlds for every pokemon, they'd want to get the most out of them as possible.

I messed around with the battle tower area in photoshop a bit, see if I could darken it abit so it would be easier to see.

My source of the map was from the opening flash intro from the new site.

While some of you bring up the west area possibly being some kind of reserve, I beg to differ. It looks awfully large to be a mere reserve. Surely there's even more things to do than just that.

And mind you, the benefit of having Pokémon follow the character is also having actual Pokémon appearing in the Day Care.

That's still not much, chances are unloved pokemon will mostly go to waste. People usually breed pokemon they like.

I just dont see what else it could be, it doesn't even seem to have any buildings in it. All it has is a big mansion in the entrance... heck this could even be Oak's home in Johto!

You keep coming up with the coolest ideas! It really does look like a mansion and it actually would make a lot of sense! That would be awesome!
