    I name all the pokemon on my team after ancient greek, aztec, egyptian ect gods.

    Diglett: Moley Mole
    Dratini: Snakeyfish

    I always wanted to name a Nidoran M "Blinky Bill".

    Meh, the first two are random but I call Arceus "God" because he has the highest base stats total in the game. Plus, it can cast Judgement on his foes which Arceus always get STAB for using it.

    Another one:

    Starmie - Beyblade

    It knows Rapid Spin. I don't care if Starmie isn't a top, I gave it that name because of the move that it learns.
     
    Hi!

    In my previous save data on Diamond (that now I deleted ^^, coz I was looking 4 Good-natured-Pkmns), I breed my Empoleon and I got a Piplup Egg (obviously, =P). When the egg hatched, I nicknamed my Piplup "POCCHAMA" ^^.

    Now I restarted my game and these are my nicknamed-PKMNs:
    - Bidoof = Keunotor (like its French name ^^)
    - Staravia = Mukubird (like its Jap name ^^)
    - Murkrow (female) = Girlkrow (XD)
    - Bronzor (SHINY!) = Domirror (Jap name, again XD)
    - Starly = Etourmi (French name, again)

    Wish u like my nicks!

    haha, would u like to enlighten me as to what those stars stand for on your ditto via a pm lol!! :P
    Only pokes i nicknamed where a bunch of dittos with there different natures. And a scizor, cos my scyther got traded onto a japanese game with the metal coat and came back as ハッサム (hassamu)!
    But i think im gona start nicknaming most my team now, as im bored of just having the normal names there. :knockedou
     
    I have to say nicknaming that Ditto that has got to be the funniest nickname I have ever seen =P. I am not sure I want to know how it was created.
     
    yeah...i have a Turtwig that i nicknamed Mr. Turtle. lol :D
     
    Lets see... I'll give the nicknames for my first game on my Ruby.

    Blaziken - Phoenix
    Flygon - Dragonfly
    Altaria - Siren (Because it knew sing)
    Groudon - Firecrag
    Kyogre - SeaTitan
    Rayquaza - Shenlong

    On my Diamond I had the team on my trainer card all nicknamed, but I changed them all back because I missed the original names.

    Empoleon - Emperor
    Luxray - Luster
    Lucario - Warrior (I later gave that nickname to my 2nd Lucario)
    Arcanine - Erm... I forgot what I called it =P
    Garchomp - Weapon
    Togekiss - Also forgot what I called it.

    Pokemon on my friend's Pearl. He named his after Naruto characters/summons and a few after Final Fantasy 10 aeons...

    Charizard - Gamabunta
    Infernape - Enma
    Hitmonlee - RockLee
    Hitmonchan - Guy
    Hitmontop - Neji (Because Hitmontop spins and Neji spins when using his Rotation move)
    Garchomp 1 - Kisame (Because Kisame looks like a Shark)
    Garchomp 2 - Zabuza (Because Zabuza's teeth look Sharkish)
    Gabite - Suigetsu (Because Suigetsu's teeth look Sharkish)
    Giratina - Anima
    Staraptor - Valefor
    Palkia - Bahamut
    Scyther - Yojimbo (Because Yojimbo uses a sword and Scyther's arm's are pratically swords)

    I guess thats about it...
     
    I updated the list once again. Keep on adding those name! Remember, I don't add nicknames or language based names. Only names that refer to how the Pokemon is used, such as Agiligross because a common Metagross set uses the attack 'Agility'.
