Since there is touch screen abilities in Pokemon Dash, Mystery Dungeon Blue, Pokemon Trozei and that stupid Pokemon Ranger game they will probably have something like pet your Pokemon and groom them for Pokemon contest. (Thats if they have one)

If there were a poke flute it would be cool if you had to blow into the mic. to play it. Kind of like in mario kart DS where you need to blow into the mic. to blow up the baloons.
 
i think the touch screen should(though it probably wont) be a map, with all the trainers, grass, obsticles, or whatever, and whenever you touch the trainer it shows you info on them if you've battled them before, or if they want to battle again.

or you press a certain but on that instrument and blow into the mic

Excitement is no reason to double post...

But, yeah, the touch screen has quite a few possibilities...the least that they could do is let you select Pokemon/attacks/items vis the touch screen.

They had it like that on Super Mario 64 DS and I never liked it. I'd prefer if they had the trainer up on the top screen and the backpack, map, or whatever on the bottom screen.

I personally like the petting/grooming idea, especially for Pokemon contests.

One thing I've always wanted to see in the Pokemon games is sort of a sports competition thing. Like if you have a fast Pokemon you can enter it in a race, and based on how well you train it, it'll try to win.
 
Touch screen? hmmm. I'm guessing something to do with closing pokeballs when you're trying to catch wild pokemon, e.g you have to draw a certain pattern. Although this would be a bit cliched I guess. (Castlevania etc)

Also use it to switch your squad around and move furniture in your den (if they keep this)

...Yeah, there are a lot of possibilities...

I have a question though, and want to back up a second to the Wi-Fi topic...If Nintendo indeed throws Wi-Fi into D/P (as we all know they will), are we going to put up a thread/section on here to discuss who's whatever and/or set up meetings, battles, trades, etc over Wi-Fi?
 
I've always wonder if they will ever have a Pokemon dentist. Hey because we get cavites why not them.

eeheheeh! Good point! ;) O_O i hope we dun have to pick a job (breeder, gym leader, dentist O_o, etc) EErmmerm...i dunnoo about you but i prefer not to look at a pikachu's teeth.
 
I'd hate to see the dentist's drill used to fix a Steelix's teeth, that's for sure...

We really should pick what we want. I'll be a Pokemon breeder. I wonder how a Pikachu mouth looks like today

The drills can come in different sizes.

I've got 2 questions. One site said Diamond/Pearl and Ranger may not come out until NEXT year as in 2007. *chuckles* Of course not...right!?! lol. I don't think I can wait..
Oh and another question would be...snap I forgot it..I'll think of it eventually.
 
I Know this as a fact D/P will not come out until 2007 for the US and anywhere else. You can tell because they don't even have a realese date yet! and thats just plain sad. Even if they did the games will take the US about 3-5 months just to come out. While other places it will take 2 months or more after the realese date for the US

*Cries* Nooo! Ugh...I was hoping they'd be out by the end of this summer..ah well. Usually I don't find out about new games until really close to the release so I'm not use to waiting. I can just go get Colliseum and try to get through that.
 
I like what you are saying about D/P and i have an idea that my friend gave me about the touch screen.
He said in battle maybe you chose an attack and then you have to draw a line from your pokemon to the other pokemon to aim your attack. I think it is a good idea in a way.
