Yeah, they can't really be less than 10. Then again, Isshu is a different Region on its own, then again, they get Pokemon at 14...
 
i was kind of Hoping the Champion this region would be a young Child around 10 or 11
i dunno that would make me laugh =PP

It seems more like the Male and Female Trainers are 16. This is kinda pervy but the animation of the female trainer throwing the pokeball leads me to believe this.
 
You are forgetting Maylene, Bugsy, Roxanne and Misty.
 
Brock is just as old as Misty isn't he?... but Misty looked around 14 =P
Bugsy is just... a girly boy around same age as Misty i guess
Flannery was 16... i think she said it... Tate and Liza looked around 13 or 14 too
Maylene was a young teen maybe preteen?...
Gardenia was 18 i think i remember reading in the Manga but i'm uncertain
Candice a was a Teen but olderish xD
Roark definitely isnt a kid o-o; Byron is around 40 probably close to 50 (going by his Rad Beard =P)
so he's probably 19-23

so the Gym Leader Claiming to be a "Kid" i hope is Younger than these =DD maybe 9-11 =P

but like i said earlier i reeeeaaally hope the Champion is a child 9-11 too =DD
a Child that was like a Pokemon Prodigy or something ;DD
 
Blue/Green/Gary was technically a child, so another one, maybe?

EDIT: By the way, Misty is 10-12 (I was surprised the first time I read that, too) and Maylene looked in the games like she had the same height as Max.
 
I know it's weird but Misty and Ash are the same age (Info from Bulbapedia).
 
Well age never really mattered anyway. It's about experience. Whitney admits that she only just joined the Pokemon training community and her Clefairy's stalling and Miltank's rollout are a hell of a pain. Maylene was young, but she was a tough gym leader if your levels didn't max hers.
LOOK AT TATE AND LIZA! They're kids, but their double battle combination always ended up KO'ing my Swampert when I had one...
I think the typings are cool, and it's nice to finally see a Gym Type that's never been before... Dark.
 
Me too! Specially because I always wondered why they never made one.
 
I got mad how they stopped making the colored cartridges :( But HGSs were a different color (just a little darker)
