    Hello! :D My name is Mike, I'm (soon going to be) 18 years old and still stuck playing Crystal when I hear that there's going to be a bloody Generation V. Don't call me conservative - I tried Emerald! But didn't like it. :(

    I listen to metal and rock mostly, with the occasional classical piece here and there. I like reading Harry Potter by Rowling and Discworld by T.Pratchett and I have a passion for the English language, which sadly is not my native one. I also play chess, but I suck at it.

    I joined these forums because I've been increasingly interested in the franchise. I want to give Battle Tower another try, but this time not using legendary guys - just standard fellows like Poliwrath, Tauros and Marowak. Yeah, well, it's not going very well. Turns out that the reason my friends used to take Dragonite and Mewtwo over Jumpluff and Misdreavus back when we used to play is because they're actually better. :(

    So, that's me, with a ridiculously long and unnecessary description of myself and an awkward attempt at concluding. Er. I'm gonna go for, Hi again! :D And, er. I'm sure it's gonna be a pleasure talking to you all!

    P.S: I'm not sure if names like mine are accepted or even approved of but seriously, 90% of Pokemon names are plays on words. You can't help but have your fun with that, right? :D

    Before sayin another word...let me point out that your post is exactly how an intro should be. People usually say "hi there, I love pokemon" or something along those lines, which actually is not an introduction, but a greeting. The details you put up are by no means unnecessary, in fact I would say they are essntial to an introduction, cuz the people of the forum have a right to know your mindset and where you are coming from (not location wise rather lifestyle and philosophy-wise). This is what I think, people might disagree of course.

    Anyways apparently you:

    - like Metal and Rock
    - like to read Harry Potter and Discwatch
    - like to play chess, though you suck at it
    - have great passion for English Language.
    - Like Crystal.

    - I was a metal freak
    - I liked Harry potter while it lasted
    - I like chess
    - I am a writer by passion (and I write in English, which isnt my native one either)
    - and crystal is my favourite of all pokemon games (had the greatest storyline, plus a lot of nostalgic factors involved ^_^)

    Anyways *ahem* hopefully you are gonna have a great time on this forum (theres a 99.9999% probability of that happening)

    Welcome to the forums, Mike! Still with Crystal, eh? You know, back when I was still playing Crystal, it was a new experience for me. I'm sure that Generation V will be a new experience for you, too! So... enjoy your time around the forums! It's nice to see another Pokémon fan joining PokéCommunity.
