So the day started horrible but the ending was just amazing. It started with me burning my hand when making noodles (I'm talking boiling hot water all over my fist), so I couldn't go to school after lunch, had to soak my hand so that I could go out tonight, took some pain killers after hours of pain and went out.
You may ask were I was going, my schools talent show (Singing contest, yeah people are only allowed to sing in there)
Anyway just so you know I did 2 songs, first one I did was Memories Barbara Streisand style, I sung that one with my friend, we didn't get a top spot for that one. But then I sang Angels by myself Jessica Simpson version! And I WON!!! I WON!!! And now the school is paying a plane ticket for me to Akureyri and a hotel room. Because I'm taking part in this years singing contest for Iceland's framhaldsskólar, the one I got 2nd place in last year, it's gonna be on TV and I'm competing against every other Framhaldsskóli (Colleges) in Iceland! And I'm going for the gold! The contest is in April (The contest is held in Akureyri).. :D
Anyway this years reward was a shock to me, since I had to get myself to Akureyri last year and stay at my aunts house.. :D
My voice is almost gone and I feel like I swallowed a box of nails my throat is so sore, but who cares!
I'm uber happy!! <3
