Fire Red/Leaf Green can't be played on Gameboy Player! =(

You should be able to.. If you have Ruby/Sapphire then can you tell us if it works on your Gameboy Player? You may need to clean the GB Player..

Try blowing in the slot where the game goes in at. And try blowing in the game.
I helps get the dust out.

It works, I play my LG and FR all the time in my GB player.

Yeah - my GB player can't get enough of Fire Red. Either the player's gone bust in some way, or its filled with dust of some sort... It sounds strange, but it'll be the dust meister. XD

Don't BLOW in it; it just gets more junk in there. Try getting a damp cloth and gently clean it out. Just make sure it's completely dry before playing.

It was made quite clear in the Instruction Booklet for Fire Red and Leaf Green that you cannot choose "Go to Adventure" on Pokemon Box and play Fire Red or Leaf Green using that method. It sucks!

Have you sharked something onto it? As ocassionally, codes have those side effects - and they can be highly annoying... :/

No I haven't used any cheats on my FR/LG but I have on my Sa/Ru
