Now.. I never use OHKO moves but I recently got asked a question involving OHKO moves and their accuracy. Now, I've always assumed that they were set at an accuracy level of 30, but was instead told by this other person that the accuracy increases with the level differences.

This was the first time I was made aware of this and as Serebii doesn't give any details... I was pointed to another site which said this:
Knocks out opponent in one hit. Accuracy increases by an amount equal to the difference between user and enemy's experience levels, then divided by 128.
I now question the reliability of this information. Can anyone confirm what goes on with OHKO moves? Are they set at 30 or dependant on levels?

But, say you had a lv 50 pokemon, and used it on a lv 30, then you would add the accuracy of 20, making 50, then dividing by 128, giving it a very low number, so I doubt that.....

Seems right. 50/128 = .39, which would be 39% accuracy. That's what makes OHKOs in level balance so unfair. Lv90+ Diglett using Fissure on a Lv50 Slaking is lol.

It would then be higher than the base stat of 30 as Towlie pointed out above...

This has caught my attention but I still kinda question the reliablilty of it...

It's about right, but it shouldn't matter, as OHKO moves are haxer. Plus, most people battle at set level.
