Okay.. sounds good!
I'll start off with.. Kai.
Kai- As you know, I LOVE KAI! So my feelings towards him are relatively simple.. I think he's an absolutely wonderful character who is only cold and emotionless the way he is because he was raised that way and scarred by his past. I already listed the reasons why I love him, so I won't go into that.. and I really don't think he needs to change much, except he can be slightly arrogant sometimes ( but.. everyone loves him for his confidence, don't they?) To tell ya the truth, I don't think Kai should change really. I love him the way he is.
Max- I looove Max, and I think he matured and developed just the way he should throughout the series.. In the beginning, he was kinda happy-go-lucky and didn't have as much self-confidence as he should've. For example, in Season 1, he didn't have enough confidence to challenge Michael of the All Starz, and asked Kai to battle in his place. It showed that he didn't have enough confidence on his own to believe he could do it. Next, he's always trying to live up to what other people expect of him (i.e. His mother, his team..) It's in G-rev that you finally see him shine as a beyblader, even though he's not all too successful some of the time. The thing I think about him that could change is his confidence. He needs to learn to speak his mind, and not just let people walk all over him.
Ray- Ray is practically perfect, really.. He's got a nicely balanced personality, he's mild tempered, handsome, smart.. He doesn't need to change at all! I wuv him to death ^o^
Tyson- Yep.. I saved the best for last. Truthfully, I'm not the biggest fan of him. I love him a bunch, but he just doesn't rank up with my other favorite characters. One of the problems I have with Tyson, is that he has plenty of issues with his character that don't get sorted out by the end of the series. Such as his arrogance and his immaturity (he also happens to be quite the hypocrite =P). Like Hiro/Hitoshi says to him, he always has to find someone other then himself to blame when he messes up. I feel like.. that developement through the series that I wanted to see with Tyson never really happened. Still, he's a great character who never doubts himself in a tough situtation ( he should give Max some of his self-confidence, and they'd be pretty much evened out ^^U), is loyal, is amusing, and has an awesome older brother! Yay for Tyson!
I'll do some more characters later, if I can get around to it before the topic changes ^.^
