2nd Gen Okay this is getting annoying

    I now have 2 copys of pokemon gold but...
    1. i cannot save on because everytime i try to load it says that the save is corrupt.
    2. on the other one (wich i brought TODAY) the thing just doesnt turn on atall
    Is there anyway around these problems?

    The internal batterys are most likely flat on both cartridges. Nothing you can do to stop it, and it happens to almost everybody. Hard luck. =/
     
    Your 1st question: Your internal batterie died. You need to get a new batterie to replace the old dead one.
    Your 2nd question: Your 2nd gold version is damage inside bc it won't turn on or your gbc sucks. (no offence)

    You could, but it involves breaking open the cartridge and soldering a new one in. (I've heard it's also possible to get by without soldering, but I'm just going by what's most often recommended.) Obviously, doing this yourself if you don't know what you're doing could potentially damage the cartridge to the point of ruin, so you'll want to take it to a professional.

    If you don't want your cartridge to get broken, I mean "shop." Watch shop might be able to do it, if not an actual electronics shop that also does repairs. If you know someone who's done something like this before, they might help, but even then, I'd probably sooner trust someone who knows more than a thing or two.
     
    Or just get a new game. It's probably going to cost more for the new battery and repairs than it would to just get a new one.

    Where did you get the game? If you got it from a game store than it's just someone's old trash and that's why you keep getting bad cartridges. Go on ebay or amazon and you can buy one from an actual dealer for $15 or so, and it should actually work.

    But there's always the chance that you get a cart that has a dead battery also. If you look around, you can get a CR2025 battery for $5: https://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062104. You could also look around on eBay for someone who re-sells carts that have had their battery replaced.

    By the way, here's an Instructable with pictures showing you how to replace the battery yourself: https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-replace-the-battery-in-a-pokemon-goldsilve/. No soldering required. They used tape to hold it in.
