Old school pokemon fan returning and thirsty for more!

Hello everyone,

Poke'mon blue/red came out while I was in middle school. I liked it so much that my gameboy was taken away by my teacher for sneak-playing it in class. Problem was I wasn't supposed to have it at shool in the first place, so I was in double-trouble! Then someone stole it from her drawer. Oh well, kids will be kids I suppose.

Now I am a 25 year-old, E-6 in the US Coast Guard with a wife a son and another on the way. I happened to buy Pokemon Diamond on a port call to Panama City and I have been hooked ever since. Just bought HeartGold and I can't put it down. I even have the Pokewalker clipped on to my belt in uniform (concealed of course, I'm a closet nerd)!

I am looking forward to getting to know the nice folks here, making some friends, and trading codes and pokemon. Maybe even a few battles to make things interesting. Stay safe everyone.

Uh, yeah, I remember playing my gameboy advance all the time when I was at grade eight...the thing is, the teacher didn't care because well. To be honest, he was lazy; just reading his paper all day...XD; Red and blue? Yeah, its a classic. Do you remember the glitches in the game? It was pretty fun to exploit them and take advantage of the level 130s. @-@; [Though in te end, the hall of fame glitched up. XD Apparently I won with a level 125 rattata~] Well, kids be kids, but everyone one is different; not all kids are like the ones who steal, etc. Age is just a number anyhow~

Its great that your a husband and a father. <3 I really hope to be one too someday, in fact. :3 And yes, the games Heartgold, and pokemon D/P/Pl? So hard to put down...even in my case were I'm in university and well, its hard to juggle everything work-related at once. :3
Lets see...your aware that this forum as different pokemon forums, correct? Like these: the Heart Gold and Soul Silver sub forum, and the Diamond, Pearl, and platinum sub forum. In their own respective forums, you can discuss each game on them. Well your more than liable to check out everywhere this forum has to offer, just a minor...suggestion if you want to check them out, since you love the games like I do. :3
