I have recently got into web desinging and I got a distinction in school somehow :/
This is what I have just made, i'm thinking of editing it..
If enough people like it then i will release it but as im new to it, then it probably wont happen

Thanks to Amberon and Jamel, if it wasnt for them I wouldn't of know how to upload it properly ^_^

Well, well, boy.... that is some pretty layout in my opinion. Load in a second!
But the point is.... what is it going to be about? We need some sort of clue on the content before we can actually judge a website.

And take a look at some minor bugs in the layout. At least here, the background image is repeting itself creating a weird look, and the text in the main textbox in escaping its limits.

When I had dreamweaver up, the bg was fine :/, I guess it doesnt really have a purpose im just looking for guidance so I can improve... thanks for your feedback, this should surely help me towards my next design.. do you have any other suggestions?

    Also looking for criticism :S

Well.. the problem, as I see... is when developing content. The tables are very small. I haven't seen the coding, but i imagine that its developing could end up three ways:

    a) The content would have to be short, and it would only allow few links.
    b) The tables should be extended, leading to repetition of background image.
    c) You would have to go for iframes or something like that to feet in the small tables existing now, which can not be supported by ALL browsers, at least not with all the features wanted.

So, it might be pretty... but you've gotta think about the real application of the layout. Is it practical?
How would you deal with this content developing if you had to?

I understand... Could it be that I have stopped using tables and started to use layers instead?

Like I would create a new layer and insert the main center bit then create a new layer to add text or something... :/

the design is great.. now just work a bit more on the coding.. (and make you bg image so that when it repeats, it all matches up so it looks like one continuous image)

also, if you are gonna do fixed width layouts, make sure to fix your various (div) elements.. when viewed full screen on a bigger monitor, it pretty much breaks your design.

How would I do that?? :\
