Hey guys. I'm not too experienced in the Platinum metagame, so I've probably missed a huge threat somewhere. Hopefully my team won't suck too bad. n_n
It's offensively orriented, so that's why there's a lack of walls (*cough* none).

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Jolly nature
Pressure
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Aqua Tail
- Rock Slide
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
Omg that standard suicide lead. I never really got the point of suicide leads until recently. I thought potentially sacrificing a Pokemon just to set up Stealth Rock/Toxic Spikes really pointless. I get their usefulness now, however, and I really like the fact Aero is so fast at setting up those Rocks. Since I'm saving Scizor until late game, the idea is to weaken and wear down the opposing team for him to clean up. I chose Aqua Tail over Earthquake because it still hits Heatran, and hurts a lot of Aero's bulky ground type counters.

Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Modest nature
4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spd
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power: Ice
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
Revenger of the team. ScarfGengar is unbelievably speedy, and with Modest he's quick powerful as well. He's my answer to a Gyarados that has gotten a DD. Also he helps against Shaymin-S with HP Ice until it gets moved to Uber. XD Focus Blast + Shadow Ball hits everything so he's not short of toys to play with.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Bold nature
252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spd
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power: Grass
- Roost
- Thunderbolt
Scizor counter, and my answer to an unboosted Gyarados. Heat Wave decimated Scizor, and Hidden Power: Grass stops stuff like Swampert coming in for free and forcing me to switch. Roost is obvious and pretty much given. This thing is very bulky and takes hits like a champ. <3

Infernape @ Life Orb
Naive nature
24 Atk / 252 SpAtk / 232 Spd
- Close Combat
- Flamethrower
- Grass Knot
- Nasty Plot
Standard MixApe. A Wall Breaker, which is handy on a offensively oriented team. After a Nasty Plot, this thing is really strong and scores OHKOs and 2HKOs on lots of things. Close Combat is, again, obvious and owns so many things. I chose him simply from good past experiences and for him being such a threat. Plus another Scizor counter can't be a bad thing.

Azelf @ Choice Band
Jolly nature
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Explosion
- Fire Punch
- U-Turn
- Zen Headbutt
When I first heard about CB Azelf I laughed before remembering it has the same base Attack as Special Attack and newly gained physical STAB in Platinum. Zen Headbutt has a handy flinch rate too on something as Speedy as 'Zelf. He outspeeds Max Speed non-Scarf Gengar and OHKOs with Zen Headbutt which is always good, although I don't know how common non-Scarf 'Gar is. Explosion is beastly, doing way more damage than the Life Orb Nasty Plot set, and Fire Punch is for owning Steel types that would otherwise wall it. U-Turn is good for scouting and does decent damage. D_A helped me with Fire Punch > Ice Punch too. n_n

Scizor @ Life Orb
Adamant nature
Technician
252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpDef
- Brick Break
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- X-Scissor
The star of the show, here. After everything is worn down and nearly dead, Scizor comes out and owns everything. Bullet Punch is 90BP after STAB and Technician, and Adamant gives it a whopping 394 Attack stat + Life Orb. Brick Break is over Superpower because an attack that lowers your Attack on a Swords Dance set seems kinda backward to me. X-Scissor is good STAB and deals with Bulky Waters. Thanks to D_A for this, he's a good help. n_n
